Thanks for watching! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We spent a few days in Utah with family and woke up yesterday morning to 7 inches of new snow. Winter is here! What did you do?
I walked a couple of blocks to my daughter's house and spent Thanksgiving with family. Where I am in Michigan it was sunny but chilly and we haven't had snow since Halloween. There is certainly more coming though. ❄I loved this adventure from the dinosaur tracks to the annular eclipse and that amazing climb!!! Thanks, Tristan.🙂👍
Tristan, your videos are informative, inspiring, and especially kid friendly. My 8 year olds love watching your videos. We watched this video and they had twice as much fun because of the eclipse and the hike. We appreciate your efforts in making these videos!
Hi Tristan, from Casper. You were at the tracks just a bit early. You need to let the sun shine over the trackway at a very low angle. The tracks are just thick. The first time I went there, the locals had cleaned the sand and gravel out of them, and traced them with white chalk. Incredible sight!
Ive never seen anything like that place and I can see why you approached it the way you did. The bit you were standing/sitting on looks like it’s just waiting to detach and slide off. Man! I’m glad it’s held. What a great hike. Thanks for sharing, @SUV RVing.
Cool place ☺️ I googled it and it's 125 miles from Red Lodge where I live. I have a goal to explore more of Wyoming this coming year. I've seen some being I'm only 26 miles from the border of Wyoming. I've been all over the state of Montana since moving here in August 2021. Both states are endless beauty untouched landscape. You certainly find some gems. I get great ideas from you of places to go. Thank you 😁
This was a great adventure. The eclipse footage and the epic drone clips of the mountain peak will be memorable. Happy Thanksgiving, SUVRV’ing Friends!
Tristan, thank you so much for your excellent videos! I am a 72-year-young female living in Rock Springs, and your videos make me feel I am going on adventures, too! I especially enjoy Wyoming. Hope you, your wife, and dog had a wonderful Thanksgiving. As far as I am concerned, your videos are the best on UA-cam! 😊
Was a subscriber a few years ago, then foolishly deleted by (EDITED: "my") original YT account before re-upping the last few months. Have had to go back and try to find out where I left off. When you said there wasn't much out there on this beautiful vantage point several months ago, I am reconfirming on 1 July, 2024 that that is STILL the case. This is just incredible. Thank you, Tristan.
Everything about this video was amazing! The opening drone footage plus the sitar music- I knew we were in for a ride (hike)! What an unworldly place- did you take us to the moon? Great eclipse bits as well! So cool, Tristan! I felt like I was at a holy place!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I'm glad you found an eclipse day which was not crowded. We went to Bisti Wilderness in NW NM. Turns out everyone else had the same idea. A huge cheer went up at the start of (almost) totality.
Very cool, I remember an eclipse. Maybe 6 to 10 years age. But it was a total eclipse.the experience of watching the light to dissapear was awesome. I was on vacation, which is the reason I was able to experience it.
Love the eclipse footage! So interesting to witness. Devils Leap was spectacular & the drone pictures really showed how expansive this area is. Know it’s super when you like it😮😊. Happy Holidays to you, Cassie & Bowser. 🎉🙋🏼♀️Enjoy the snow ❄️
Devil's Leap was sooo beautiful and dramatic! I wish I had known about this place when I lived in Wyoming. : ) I'll have to make it back to that state someday and do some exploring. Amazing to have no wind! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
I think you would like to read " Life on Muskrat Creek: A Homestead Family in Wyoming" . You were camping near their homestead not long back. It gave me a good idea of what it was like to live in Wyoming around 1900 on a homestead, you had to be tough!
Just outside Greybull to the west is a museum of aviation and firefighting. Loads of spooky planes in the distance and a few that you can crawl around on too. Wyoming really has a lot to see.
Those tracks can be hard to see. Usually when you start to see them more and more become apparent. Perhaps the light was wrong angle. Great adventure, can't wait to see where YOUR tracks lead!
Learning all about Wyoming through your adventures. It's a state that has always fascinated me and your adventures are so interesting and can't wait to see another video. Thank you for all your hard work out there and fun, of course, exploring as well.
WOW! What an epic place Devil's Leap is! Thank you for the amazing video clips of the eclipse and especially the drone shots from the top of Devil's Leap. Spectacular!
Wow! I thought you were going to say Utah! Gorgeous drone footage! Thanks for sharing eclipse footage to those who didnt get glasses! I have added this to my list (most of your adventures are on it) Great episode!
Extremely well done my friend! Thanks for upping your drone game, it made a huge difference putting the formation in full perspective 👍. Great story ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Every time I watch your videos and you are hiking somewhere, you’re actually hiking more than what appears on camera. No wonder you are so skinny and have so much energy! Lol 😂 - one day I’ll be able to travel and hike with just a little bit of your energy. Of course I’ll be 67 in a couple of weeks. I really enjoy your videos and will enjoy my travels with my service-dog-in-training in my Chevy Equinox. Until your next video! ❤️😊 Brenda & Blue 🐕🦺❤️
This is a very good, well done video. Thank you. Did you know beforehand that when you were at the edge of the "Leap" that you were on a part of the formation that had partially separated from the main section and that someday (fortunately not while you were there) will undergo calving? Fantastic drone views. I think I will experience Devils Leap vicariously through your video.
Nah, I didn't really notice that until I was editing the drone footage. But I think we're looking at more of a geological scale for that happening and less of a human lifetime scale. Thanks for watching!
If it’s not against the rules, carry a bottle of water and pour it into the suspected track. The contrast will be immediately apparent and easy to photograph. I’ve used that in the past, and you might want to try it when you go to someplace else with tracks.
Incredible video and editing. I hope people appreciate the effort it takes to do those long shots requiring you to hike those sections twice. There looked to be a gap to the final platform of Devil's Leap. If it were sketchy I'm sure you would have filmed it.
Just did devil’s Leap yesterday, what an awesome hike. We came from the other side than what you did. Through Trapper creek rd. Out of Shell. Also did bucking Mule falls, porcupine falls and I think paradise falls. Thanks for the info. Love trails with no one on them.
Wow I would totally think that place was here in Utah! The only element that’s missing is cacti and yuccas. I had no idea a place like this existed north of Utah, and the rest of the Southwest! That was great!
. Wow! During your shots on Devil's Leap ... I was on the brink myself ... that is, I was just about to feel an adrenaline rush ... sitting at my PC Screen ! No Kidding ..! Awesome video!
You are so blessed to have the ability to do that.... I hope you were using your drone instead of walking back to get the camera... And lastly, it's a major crime. This video does not have three or four hundred thousand views.... Thanks for taking the time to do this and sharing.. I found your channel in april twenty twenty four.. It's my favorite channel now.... If I could find it, I tap on the view counter. It's probably broke.
Thanks for sharing. That was sooo cool! I saw the eclipse at the last minute. It was cloudy here in Central Indiana most of the day. I saw a shadow on my porch and went to look to see if I could see the eclipse. The clouds parted briefly and I did. About the 70%.
Thank you so much. Devil's Leap is such an amazing place! Love the sitar music with the drone shots. Really has the vibe of a place where men and gods can meet. Wonder if it has any Native American significance/history. Would be awesome to go there in winter with lots of white snow and red rock.
Definitely one of the most dramatic experiences in all your wonderful videos. I found myself having to look away from the edge of Devils Leap as you peered over. A little too high in the air for me.
That's near my old home ground. Lived on the other side of the Big Horns (Story-Banner area). Great fishing in those mountains if you get a chance. Wish I was still there.
Thanks for watching! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We spent a few days in Utah with family and woke up yesterday morning to 7 inches of new snow. Winter is here! What did you do?
We spent time at our property, no snow, just low level puffy clouds.
3" of new snow here in Santa Fe overnight & a bit more drifting down this morning. I'm going out to do some photography before it melts.
What a beautiful place. Thanks for taking us along. I would love to see a collaboration video with you and Foresty Forest while he's in the States.
Amazing!!! Totally love this vid, as I'll probably never get out there to see it first hand. Thanks!!
I walked a couple of blocks to my daughter's house and spent Thanksgiving with family. Where I am in Michigan it was sunny but chilly and we haven't had snow since Halloween. That drone footage atop the cliff...man! ❤Wyoming❤
I've always said that drone footage makes it look as epic as it feels to be in a place like this 😁
That was a very cool shot of the eclipse as it was startingto happen and the plane heading toward it.
Lovely music from India to match your gorgeous trip
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Hi Tristan, from Casper. You were at the tracks just a bit early. You need to let the sun shine over the trackway at a very low angle. The tracks are just thick. The first time I went there, the locals had cleaned the sand and gravel out of them, and traced them with white chalk. Incredible sight!
There are lots of sea shells in the walls down by the dino tracks. You will see the tracks better in better light
The sitar soundtrack was beautiful. Blended well with the land's redness and beauty.
I actually got vertigo when you gave us a peek over the edge of the sheer drop of! Thanks for great experiences from my recliner!🦌💌❤️🙏👍
Ive never seen anything like that place and I can see why you approached it the way you did. The bit you were standing/sitting on looks like it’s just waiting to detach and slide off. Man! I’m glad it’s held. What a great hike. Thanks for sharing, @SUV RVing.
I'm glad too 😄 This really is a unique place. Thanks for watching.

Red Lodge -- what a beautiful place. Has the town recovered from last year's floods?
@@robertsurtees4380Yes it has!!!
This was a great adventure. The eclipse footage and the epic drone clips of the mountain peak will be memorable. Happy Thanksgiving, SUVRV’ing Friends!
It was a memorable day, for sure! Thanks for watching.
Well phrased! Totally agree. Randy/GA
Your videos are so professional. Foresty Forest is back in your hood. You two should do a collab. Nancy

That's awesome! It's always great to run into fellow Rock Springians online 😁 I appreciate you watching.
The Devil's Leap was amazing. Thank you for taking the scenic way in, it gave great perspective.

Breath taking!!!!!!!!!! Awwwww, thank you young man...Rea,old grannle
Awesome scenery. Colors & geographic processes creating this part of Wyoming.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I'm glad you found an eclipse day which was not crowded. We went to Bisti Wilderness in NW NM. Turns out everyone else had the same idea. A huge cheer went up at the start of (almost) totality.
I didn't see a soul out there! It was great 😁
Very cool, I remember an eclipse. Maybe 6 to 10 years age. But it was a total eclipse.the experience of watching the light to dissapear was awesome. I was on vacation, which is the reason I was able to experience it.
❤ Great drone footage!😊 thanks for Sharing ❤

What a Hike Dude !!!!
Fab video
What a fun video today! Background music fit perfectly.
From Devil's causeway in Colorado to Devil's ridge in Wyoming. Your adventures are something I look forward to. Thank you.
Oh my Gosh! Tristan I could only look for a second! I can’t believe you did it! Can’t believe you did it!😍

Great music lol. Amazing cinematography. Gorgeous stuff. Thank you.
So otherworldly, especially with an eclipse! That view was breathtaking! Going to look for those glasses, first I've heard of them; cool!

What a GREAT video. From an eclipse to the "alter of the God's ". Thanks Tristen, spectacular 👍
Spectacular scenery. A lesser known example of a hidden gem!! Thanks for sharing. Randy/GA
Awesome drone footage with you on top of the Alter/Leap, especially with the otherworldly music!!
DON'T JUMP! that was cool! thank you now let's go fishing! ALL stay safe
WOW! What an epic place Devil's Leap is! Thank you for the amazing video clips of the eclipse and especially the drone shots from the top of Devil's Leap. Spectacular!
The badlands are so beautiful. Almost otherworldly. Always enjoy your videos.
carry the rock salt or brown pellets for you to get out , . i carry about 10#s of it, during the winter season, a shovel and plastic tracks 4 in total
Holy cow! I’m getting vertigo just watching your camera footage. That and the eclipse too! 😮 awesome.
Thank you I love your videos to see the incredible West. God Bless you and your wife. G
Incredible views. My knees get weak just looking at the heights! Thank you for showing us these unbelievable places.
Wow! I thought you were going to say Utah! Gorgeous drone footage! Thanks for sharing eclipse footage to those who didnt get glasses! I have added this to my list (most of your adventures are on it)

Wow. One of my favorite places you’ve visited. Beautiful.
Wow!! That was really courageous to hike up there completely alone without much information! 😮
This is a very good, well done video. Thank you. The pad was in deep shade too. Raking sidelight would definitely make the impressions standout better.
That was a great trip. Thank you for sharing it. The drone makes such a difference as it defines the space. The dramatic vistas are amazing.
Incredible video and editing. I hope people appreciate the effort it takes to do those long shots requiring you to hike those sections twice. There looked to be a gap to the final platform of Devil's Leap. If it were sketchy I'm sure you would have filmed it.

I work overnights and so look forward to coming home Saturday mornings and seeing what new adventures you have in store for us.
Amazing aerial videography and music! Great adventure!
Wow I would totally think that place was here in Utah! The only element that’s missing is cacti and yuccas. I had no idea a place like this existed north of Utah, and the rest of the Southwest! That was great!
Absolutely epic drone shots. Great video, as always!
I loved everything in this video! What beautiful country, and the eclipse was such a bonus!
Appreciate the coordinates, would love to see this in person someday. Simply amazing. Thank you!
.
Wow!
During your shots on Devil's Leap ... I was on the brink myself ... that is, I was just about to feel an adrenaline rush ... sitting at my PC Screen ! No Kidding ..! Awesome video!
This was quite the hike and climb. Thanks for sharing the eclipse also. We were not in the pathway here in British Columbia where we are.
A rare glimpse of an untouched land far from the Oceans where dinosaurs roamed....
For those of us on the crazy chaotic coasts.
Thanks for the eclipse footage. It was cloudy here, and we didn't get to see it.
I was in Greybull a couple of years ago when I drove US route 20 from Newport, OR to Boston MA. See what I missed! I must scale Devil's Leap!
Awesome Trista, the eclipse & all thank you!!
Awesome, Awesome video. I even got sorta light headed looking off that 550" cliff...lol
Great video, especially the music. Bobo bars are my favorite portable snack!!
Yes, very impressive trip....all of it. Thanks for the eclipse. Idaho received snow Thanksgiving. Take care.😊

Very 😁
Thanks for showing me good view of the eclipse and the hike you gave us
What a great day of fun and drama. Thanks!
Holy!!! Now that was awesome👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Impressive moon glow!!!😂❤❤
Thank you so much. Devil's Leap is such an amazing place! Love the sitar music with the drone shots. Really has the vibe of a place where men and gods can meet. Wonder if it has any Native American significance/history. Would be awesome to go there in winter with lots of white snow and red rock.
What a beautiful area. So glad you walked around that cliff instead of rock climbing up. Amazing views.
I love your channel. It’s always about the adventure. Chris🚙🎄
wow 👌 fantastic views, thanks for the climb
Definitely one of the most dramatic experiences in all your wonderful videos. I found myself having to look away from the edge of Devils Leap as you peered over. A little too high in the air for me.
Beautiful open country. Devils Leap looks more impressive than Devils Causeway in the Flat Tops
It truly looks like an alien planet out there. Than k s for taking us along!
Amazing and breathtaking views with your drone!
Loved the music during the drone video
That's near my old home ground. Lived on the other side of the Big Horns (Story-Banner area). Great fishing in those mountains if you get a chance. Wish I was still there.
Stunning scenery. Thank you. (You were near geology You Tuber Myron Cook’s area. Maybe he will do an accompanying video on the feature one day. )
Just Love the Music.
Amazing place. Thanks for sharing the eclipse I didn't get to see it. Safe travels
Thank you for taking us to Montana, a state I have not had time to explore.
The only place like that I have ever been is Angle’s Landing in Zion National Park. It too is a thrill seekers adventure!
Absolutely great video! What a spectacular area. Thanks for sharing this, Tristan!!
What a fantastic video!
The drone footage was great!
Love the belvita with a packet of almond butter, and if I have 'em, some chocolate chips,
Very cool hike!! Thanks for posting it!
Incredible views and drone footage!!
