This video I think highlights the fact that once you have everything prepared it can come together nicely without drama. Ok we may not have Georges experience but if we use the steps just like this video shows then we will all have great scapes like this one. Thanks as always George and the frequent uploading keeps us all buzzing. Love it!
Thanks Steve. I always look forward to your comments 👍🙏
Absolute pleasure :)
TRULY beautiful, simplistic and clean. Best of all; a great environment for the fishes.
Thanks Dannette 👍
Love the hardscape, the plant are a extra layer. Good filming, you’ve made us feel as if we where there. . George, your commitment to your viewers is 2nd to none. You seem to read all comments on current vids. This is what makes you stand out head and shoulders above the rest. Fantastic job. Tom
Thanks Tom! I try to engage as much as possible with you guys. My channel would be nothing without you so it’s the least I can do. 👍
Really love this tank!!! Do you run it with co2? My tank is a little smaller also with kessil’s (the smaller amazon suns) i can not get rid of algea on my echinodora. Do i need co2???
Goldclaws1 q
I could of course go on about this and that, however I think one sentence will sum this up. "Simply stunning and highly inspirational" great work George.
Thanks Robert 👍
I love that the colour palette of the hardscape echos that of the office interior: black and sandy blonde. Restrained contemporary elegance - perfect!
Thanks Glenda 😊
Shows you that you can do an awesome scape with the simplest of plants. The green is going to pop in a few months. Nicely done, as always.
Thanks 🙏
Oh that is such a beautiful scape. You didn't forget to put in the rootabs right lol! that's for sharing your awesome work George!
Even tough I’m getting a 50 to 100 gallon tank this was helpful to give me more ideas cuz I have no idea how to scape it
Only God could have made that aquascape any better. You pulled me in deeper when I saw my most favorite plant, Amazon sword, being heavily used. Thank You for this awe-inspiring scape!
Thanks so much 👍🙏
Really great scape love the contrast of the rock and gravel. Your dedication is at the top keep it up!
Love the simple colour scheme on this one
Thanks Kayleigh 😊
Fantastic looking aquascape. The tip I have learned today is to heavily plant a new setup to avoid the algae. You are giving me lots to think about George.
Thanks Robert- glad to help 👍
Nice scape. My favorite part of this one is the hardscape AND your attitude. Cheerio!
Great to hear - thank you ! 👍
It is a gift that you have. Truly it's art.
Thanks 🙏
Awesome video. How great to have a tank like that installed at their workplace.
Thanks mate 👍
Cheers George! Great work! This isn't easy to do the job and still capturing it on site as a one-men-show for a VLOG. Respect for that! Keep up the good work mate. Hope to see you soon!
Cheers mate. Looking forward to seeing the new shop! Will you be at Interzoo ?
We had the last day today in our old shop. Moving in all next week. As soon as we put all puzzle in place we will have an opening ceremony :) Yup we will be at the Interzoo with the GA team. Let's meet there :) Will you do a live scaping there? :)
Wow! Amazing news.
Looking forward to seeing you!
No live scaping planned but who knows!? 😊
Awesome equipment, very nice scape and planting, you make this look easy George 👍
Thanks Jon😊
Another beaut of a video! Staurogyne repens & porto velho are underrated imo. They are quite diverse - carpeting, and what you've shown here. Great stuff!
Thanks 🙏
Beautiful scape, well done! I may suggest adding some crumbled small rocks randomly which would add natural look. Also some crypts in the middle area would be great for transition.
Thanks Tolga 👍
Such a beautiful scape. I love the big pieces of wood. I would have loved to have seen it completed with the fish swimming.
Love the process from an empty tank to the final result! Great job again George! Also love the dragon stone! I am also in the process of setting up a 56 gallon planted column tank with dragon stone and Manzanita Driftwood. Thanks again George!
Thanks Mike
Absolutely love that . Great scape George.
Great video George! Did a great job on such a big tank. Sure it’ll look even better in a few months!!🌱
Thanks so much 👍
Amazing mate. Can’t wait for the update video.
Honestly loved the whole video. Your camera work and editing is awesome. Keep it up!
Thanks. All this was done on iPhone 7 👍
Another great looking tank. My favorite part is the hardscaping.
Thanks ShelbyRae 😊
Hi George.
Hope you are well.
I love the Aquascape, it looks fantastic.
You can already see how it will look in the next few months.
Great job.
Thank you for sharing.
I love your work, it really is inspirational.
This is going to be a beautiful scape when it fills in. I'd never thought of attaching S. Repens to driftwood, before.
Thanks Anthony 😊
I really like this scape. I like the negative space Will need to incorporate into my next scape 👍
Thanks Sharon. Good luck with the next scape 👍
Awesome and well done George👍🏻👍🏻
Lovely work George.
Thanks 😊
Beautiful job George. I didn’t know S.repens can be grow on wood and rocks. I haven’t been able to keep it in the substrate but I will now try it attached to things.
c’est magnifique George 👏🏼👏🏼💎👌🏼
Sweet scape George! About 150 to 200 Rummynose Tetra's would look amazing in there.
Looking forward to seeing this tank mature.
Amazing scape George, i'm in process and planning for a big rescape of my 350L. Going for a look similar to this, i have the wood ordered and I'm using a dirt substrate. Pretty excited. Going to do a video of the whole take down of my old tank and rebuild. Your vids have been really helpful. Cheers
Great stuff Chris! Good luck with the re-scape. 👍
I love how you only used 4 plants. Yet it looks so beautiful and unique.
Thanks Abhishek 👍
Hi George - new subscriber from America - did you ever do a followup on this project? Its beautiful - did you ever incorporate fish or a clean up crew? Thanks for putting your passion online for us to see - Im just stumbling into the hobby and am really enjoying your material
Great tank George great aquascape great job you have.

Another great scape George!

Your new Best George.
Love that mate. One of my favourite scapes for sure. I've always been a sucker for swords.
Sexy swords! 👍
Great. Looks natural
In bed with a mancold having a UA-cam day all things aquascaping and aquatic plants. I didn’t know S. Repens could be attached to hardscape, cheers for the tip George.🤘
Awesome! you are a big professional, very nice and good aquascape)
Thanks Andrey 👍
Fantastic scape, George! Loving life and creating amazing tanks!
Beautiful tank man. Wow
Thank you 😊
Another great scape George. Any thoughts as to what fish to stock it with. ? How about a huge shoal of tetras.
Hi George, Simple yet beautiful scape..
will gravel promote plant growth for a long term or is it temp..
I am planning on setting up a 29 gallon planted tank and would love to get some advice on how to and what plants to use, I am new to planted tank, planning to use Dragon rock in the tank as I like the pattern of rock.. Thanks
Hi George I am addicted to your videos you are so knowledgeable and your work is Betacular where in Great Britain are you awesome you're beautiful
Thanks!
Cool video. Hopefully when you do an update on this setup, you can show the filtration.
If the 1500 ever becomes available in the United States, I’m getting one.
Thanks. Will do!
I have been growing repens on the windowsill for about 6 months now, dosing lightly (as it has my Conoly of pest snails i breed for a puffer friend) and I have almost half a 30-litre clear acrylic storage box full of the stuff, it grows like a weed.
A few months ago i through all my spare dragon stone at the bottom too see if would attach, as it seemed to attach to anything in my other scapes, including other plants! To no surprise, i now i have at least 5kg of dragon stone covered in the stuff, will make a beautiful low tech tank soon :B
On another note, very nice tank :D
Sounds great, Dan!
Edwin from Costa Rica, beautiful well explained nice job . Thank you !!!
Smiple yet a beautiful scape. Can repens survive on the wood and stone without soil?
wow well done man!👍👍
Superb video. Cheers. Can we get an update on this tank, please?
Would love to see it with fauna.
Looking great!
I keep on thinking that I've settled on going marine and then you bring out one of these awesome videos. Back on the fence haha
😂 I love a good marine but my heart is planted aquascapes.
Hey George,
I love your videos and I learn a lot from them. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I have set-up a 120-gallon planted tank two weeks ago with river rocks and driftwood inspired by many of your set-ups. I saw your video two days ago and your Rotala H'ra was stunning. All the plants in my tank are doing wonderful and growing except for the Rotala H'ra. I was hoping to get that green and pink but I am just getting a red color on all leaves. They are in the corner of the tank and keep falling onto each other. Any ideas of what could be wrong with them?
Hola George, just watching this with friends in Spain! Mum xx
Hola mum! Xx
Really cool. I have a 120 gallon aquarium that I've been considering about rescaping.
Thanks Jeremy 👍
George Farmer I also have a 4.5 nano aquascape that I started this year. Its my first attempt at aquascaping.
Great! 👍
Шикарный аквариум 👍🔥
very nice this aquascaping !!!
Hi George :) Just wondering if you had done a return visit video for this tank yet? I couldn't seem to find one. Thanks for my first ever introduction to Aquascaping! I didn't even know it was a thing till I stumbled across your video :D
How much Tropica Plant Substrate did you use in the end, sorry I'm a late comer. love the content by the way. I have been well and truly bitten by the aqua scape bug, and you make it so easy to understand. looking forward to knowing and growing more...
Thanks in advance.
Awesome work
Thanks 🙏
Great scape. I would love to see an update as well as more low-tech scapes :-)
Nice and simple, great emphasis on the hardscape! Can't wait to see it grown in! Is there co2 inline with the filter?
Thanks! Yes inline diffuser 👍
Yet another beautiful aquarium.... didn't see the red colinder when you was filling up tho George.. Did you forget it ? Lol
Thanks!
Yes, forgot it... 😩😂
Looks great!
How is the Staurogyne repens attached to the hardscape?
Thank you.
Very nice aquascape.. Iam from Indonesia
Ah love these videos
Thanks Gav 👍
I know I’m only a few years late 😂, but I saw this video and immediately fell in love with your aquascape and because I’m getting a 30 gallon tank soon, I was wondering . if I was to do a mini replica of this scape what fish work work well with it he design
Gorgoeous ! Awesome job :D!
Simple and amazing so natural
Great scape.
Thanks 🙏
Nice tank!
Hi iv just purchased a 65x55 155ltr cube tank and have purchased the tropica plant substrate. Just wandering what size sand you used coarse or fine... And how many bags do you think ill need for my tank for a similar thickness bed.... Thanks
Looks awesome
Thanks Aaron 👍
Great job, George! How do you attach the staurogyne repens to the Stones and wood? With glue? Or do you stick it into the gaps?
I love your videos, from South Korea❤️
🙏
beautiful aquarium was 👍
It's looking amazing just perfect ..
U r great brother .
💓💓💓
Thanks so much Vishal 👍🏻
Hello.. thanks for the informative video.. i have one question for you.. using Banyan tree roots or branches as driftwood is advisable in fish tank???
I don’t know. Sorry
gorgeous.
Thank you 👍
Well scaped George!!! Loved the setup but got a query. How did you attach repens on the dragon stone and wood?
amazing job! Love it.
First of all nice scape as always. Secondly. Where is the iconic red colander. From a scaping perspective, which do you prefer? Mostly wood, wood and rock or all rock. And how do you decide which way to go with a scape. Thankyou.
Hi Kurt, can you believe I forgot my red colander?! Very upsetting... 😩
Hardscape Design is largely based on the client’s wishes in a project like this. I influence, as appropriate and advise on what I think will work better and provide several options. Usually they are happy to go with whatever I suggest, so it’s based on available materials, tank size, tank shape, eventual livestock and plant preferences. 👍
Hello Sir George, can I only use root tabs in my aquascape instead of using soil/dirt substrate as base layer. I'm planning to make an aquascape using sand as my main substrate and putting root tabs underneath it. Thanks
3 feet lenth and 18inch height.gravel and big 5 rocks i keep.dad cime and angry and said dont put big rocks it increae presuure to glass and break the tank.is this possible sir? Any suggestion
ok how did you fill it up with water so fast? Did you have a reservoir with dechlorinated water ready somewhere?
nice
Hi George.
Was this sand substrate "unipac fiji fine sand" ??
If you can reply ASAP that would be great as my order is on hold and this is the only content I've hound on UA-cam regarding fiji.
Thank again Nick
why does this channel not have more subs
You can help by sharing my videos 👍
Yes! Hatchbacks rule the world. O yea nice scape too..haha
A school of 30 dwarf neon rainbows would look amazing in that 125. Keep it a single species tank.
Nice idea Jordan 👍
Great scape as always. Interested to see your use of tropica soil and how thin a layer you used. I have a dirted substrate and dose ferts and excel as carbon source. I have three bleheri that after 17 months since setting up are now growing much shorter, almost half the size they attained during first 10 months. Question is, do you know if I can safely add root tabs now that the dirt has lost some of its potency? I read that adding fertiliser to soil can cause toxicity issues. Interested in your thoughts. Could a tank be set up with the substrate in your video dosing ferts and excel rather than CO2. Dirt is great for first year, but has its limitations and issues!
