New Protoss changes are quite good for early game. I watched a uThermal video the other day where he went sentry/stalker or stalker/sentry and he was able to hold a proxy 3racks because of the energy recharge giving the sentry enough energy to keep force fields up the ramp while getting more stakers out.
No way, that can't be true! Why would everyone rage for the first month after the patch notes about how the Terran council loves Terrans and hates Protoss and gutted Protoss to the point of unplayability if it were possible for a post-patch Protoss player to hold off a Terran push without battery overcharge? Surely the ignorant, hyperbolic overreaction of every single annoying commenter and content creator not named "Harstem" in the Starcraft 2 space on UA-cam couldn't possibly be wrong in analyzing how terrible the changes were for Protoss! That would be impossible, no two ways about it. Clearly uThermal's video is digitally altered, that's the only possible explanation.
@@vonriel1822 ... now before you rant too hard recognize at the highest level the problem was not 3rax but 2 base tank... which all pro players agree is harder to hold(unless they walk entire army through 1 block ramp and the forcefield split...) Other then PvZ which became more cancerous on ladder.(though nice quality buff to Zerg EG) PvT is worse for toss
In the build order you demonstrated, what would be a good time to send a probe out to scout? I am not comfortable doing no-scout builds at my level. In what way do I need to adjust my opener as I'm scouting?
The focus is on the build order. he went against the ai to show the timings when uninterrupted. Thats why he left and didnt attack the AI at all, that wasnt the point

I remember that, it was legendary!

Hey harstem have you shown how to stop the proxy marauder build with the new patch?
It seems insanely strong with the no overcharge.
you give up the low ground stargate+1 sentry > go into voidray.

One minute or after gateway

Harstem: I'm going to discuss PvT early game scout timings in the new patch.... Let's play PvZ to show y'all what I mean! :)
Dude is showing an AI who’s boss…. Dude… I can do that too
Are you stupid or trolling?
