Great harmony between the sisters. They never got the recognition they deserved.
This is tradional country folks.!!!
It's considered California country, along the lines of the Bakersfield sound. Traditional country is stuff like Hank Williams Sr, George Jones, Ferlin Husky, that sort of thing. Nevertheless, it's all great music.
@@LinkRocks who the hell put you in charge . California country at laughable laughable that’s laughable.
I'm from the hoods of DC but this is one of my favorite songs ever. Harmony is just perfection.
Here too (DC too)
When country was country! Two beautiful ladies with harmony unsurpassed! Love these old songs. They bring back many memories!
Just have to get up dancin' ❤! Man these ladies can sing! Love it!!!
You can't beat that steel guitar for real country music
The harmony is beyond perfect!!!! Very relatable song. Thank you for all the years of this amazing song! Still here in January of 2023.
Classic Country at it's Best
Thanks for the Memories
When country music was country. Today's flashes in the pan can't hold a candle.
Well put.

Love country songs, are my companion on my travelling in big open spaces in my country !! Argentina !! 💕👍😁
🎯
I am very happy to realize how blessed I am to live the 80's and 90's watching country music!
👏👍
This song takes me back to a time that I sure miss
Take Heart! We will fix it!
Thirty years later, I keep coming back to this song and the album it appeared on. These girls blew me away then, and they blow me away still.
I actually had a cassette tape of SWEETHEARTS OF THE RODEO and would play it a lot when I driving to work or grocery store.
I had their cassette I my Dodge Dakota.
Like this song
Great music! ☺
They look FANTASTIC and sound FABULOUS
great vocals and music...country music..
love
This is the best rendition of this song that I’ve ever heard them sing. Just love Kristine’s voice ... nice and deep and Janis and her high voice blends great with her sisters... great harmony! Very professionally done.
Watch (listen to lol) “Chains of Gold” live on here and it should pull-up just by typing the name of the song. I’ve always loved the song, but I never knew that they both sang every word together. No harmonizing in the usual way I guess, but two lead singers. They had a string of hits throughout the nineties.
@@Kidd23Kidds .....
Yes they did. Janice was married to Vince Gill for quite a while.
You can't miss the love these two sisters have for each other. Is good country like this lost forever?
Used to listen to these ladies singing on the radio on my way to every morning back in the late 80s early 90s there the sound track to my young adulthood they don't make female groups anymore sweethearts of the rodeo the Forester sisters Holly Dunn Carlene Carter and so many more they were and still are some of the best pure National Treasures
Love this... and their amazing harmonies. It's not only a great song, but they perform it so incredibly well. Hard to believe it was from way back in 1986... seems a lifetime ago, but STILL remains relevant! I forever will cherish the way she sings the word "tay-ah-hwan"... and I'm not even from the South!
the sisters are from LA originally
Saw them live that year in Waterfront Park in Portland
Beautiful ladies
If I could live to be 500 I would still be listening to this. This song never gets old.
Never seen a live version of this and I’m just floored at how their harmony it’s as pure live as on record. Just stunning.
This is it , ir won't get crisper, appreaciate it. Thank God...thank God.
I saw them in Oklahoma in 1992. They sounded just like this. One of the few artists were able to hold onto their great sound.
Met Mike Johnson at the scoreboard bar in Nashville and he couldn’t be nicer. Took me to his table and introduced me to family and I got a great picture of him and me.
Love this song
They still sounded fantastic!
I deeply miss this amazing music going over the radio waves. It saddens me that I have to search it out. This garbage being played today is nothing more than computer synthesized foolishness that anyone can do on a home computer.
Can't keep them 4 ever, dear.
@@AJEANNIEAJEANNIE What exactly can I not keep forever, dear?
BACK IN THE 80'S AND 90'S THIS WAS JUST A REALLY MEAN, FUN TWO-STEP, MAN i LOVED TO SWING THOSE GALS ALL OVER THE DANCE FLOOR TO THIS ONE, WHAT A GREAT MEMORY1
I absolutely LOVE their harmonies!
This song has infectious amiability
15 years old, L&G truck stop in Porter,Indiana shooting pool at midnight in the mid 80’s with my buddies this song played a lot! Always loved it!

This song has been sung.... no one could ever sing it any better then this... not even them ... again.
Saw these country songbirds twice in San Marcos, Ca., truly loved and missed their classic country music. The Everly Brothers comes to mind in their harmony, thanks Janis and Christine.
Christine is fantastic. Saw them live and met them .

THIS IS SUCH A GREAT SONG...THIS ONE TAKES ME BACK TO BEING OUT LATE WITH SOMEONE I LIKED AND YOU KNOW THE USUAL CURFEW WAS PASSED...♥♥♥
I remember these ladies from day one . Vic Woods place - 7 miles west of Wapato near Yakima Wa-
Real music and awesome talent. The way it should be. They performed in August 1988 at Great Mills , Md at amphitheater behind high school along with John Conlee . Great show !
They still sound great, and they are definitely still "sweethearts"!
They sound as good now as they did in the 80's and look Hotter now then back then!!
Their Harmony was simply amazing. I really miss the '80's country.

Spot on.
They are surely missed!!!!!
It is so hard to believe this song is almost 30 years old. Great harmony and two beautiful ladies to sing this song. I have lived in a Sunset Town. It is a great break from the big city of Phoenix. I didn't get an opportunity to meet these ladies when I worked in Phoenix radio, but I wish I could have.
One of my all time favorite country songs ❤
Love the harmony of these beautiful ladies. (Janis and Christine Sweethearts of the Rodeo the name they go by) I always tune in to this ( I call it the Gaither band shows) did see the two little sisters (Sarah and Savannah) waiting for their turn. The band backing the singers is really awesome. Very inspiring watching these musicals. God Bless.
Sibling harmony at its best.
Good morning ladies , How are you doing? I haven't heard from you in years. But I remember that song. In fact I remember ALL your wonderful music . I miss it.
The ladies sound great! Nice old song .
I can remember singing this song with my dad growing up in the hill country in his old pickup truck. I sure miss those days my dad has been gone for many years now.
Love the twang .Brilliant !!
essa musica tocou muito aqui no Brasil, sucesso eterno da musica country.
Remember when country music sounded like country music. Two perfectly blended voices
👍🙌
Maddie and Tae are keeping it alive
Before it turned into crapy hip-hop stuff yeah
I like the short one
I've listened to the ladies for the better part of my adult life and it never gets old. They are as pretty, and talented, as they were twenty-five years ago!
So beautiful ❤️
Shame on me, for not posting. I've listened to this song dozens of times and always love it. Two beautiful talents deserved to be awarded great words from the people that enjoy this great music....such as myself.

Outstanding shipmates. Press on. USS Kitty Hawk CV-63. Jan 1980 to July 1983. Music lover for life.

Can't stop loving country song.. To live a country life is my dreams still.. 😘
😮This is a powerful and rhythmic sisters country duo. My all time favorite cowboy song is Troubadour ,by George Straight. I believe this should be the best country song of the whole family.
They sound good
Twenty five years later and these two ladies are still smokin' hot.
Couldn't agree more Joe, loce the lead singer.
Christine Arnold and Janice Gill(Vince Gill's Ex)
And can still sing
@jesusisnotallright s Wonder why Connie Smith didn't dump Marty..
@jesusisnotallright s Don't forget Rock Hudson, Paul Lynde, Dick Sargent, Jonathan Frid & Joel Crothers...
They are real authentic sweethearts! Love their songs!👍
Thanks girls,, great stuff... Watching from Australia.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is how you country!!!
These ladies are smoking hot. I was 13 years old when I first heard their music in 1986. I am 51 years old and I still feel the same. I have to confess that brunettes make my heart pound and make my temperature rise. These ladies are very beautiful women inside and out. I remember reading and hearing that one of them was married to Vince Gill at one time. These ladies are really great. They can really take ahold of a person's heart with their music. They are really great
This is just great!!
Good sweet voice
I loved it ❤ beautiful mega woman ❤️🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲🦅
