+Emma Louise Yeah, he's lived with the disease for over 50 years. He's a fighter and one of the lucky ones with the disease because most people die from it after 2 or 3 years. Part of the reason why he's lived so long with it is because he was diagnosed with it at a young age, 21 to be exact. Most people get it in their 50s and 60s and the progression for them is rapid. But for people who get it under 40, the progression is actually much slower. The progression varies from patient to patient. But it didn't stop him from doing his research, as it couldn't since it doesn't affect a person's mind.
It is amazing. I think it might be due to that he was diagnosed at a very young age and his body was able to adapt to it stronger when normally, people between 40-70 get diagnosed with it.

You can clearly feel all the pains that he had been through. Wowowow, I really love this movie. This is one of my favorite movies, because this is the first movie I had ever watched. “However bad life may seem. There is always something you can do and succeed at. While there is life, there is hope!”
Love this movie so much. It’s shot so beautifully. The ending is so moving where time is reversed. Why did such a tragedy happen to such a great man? Jane is such a strong and beautiful woman. All because of her insistence on saving Stephen’s life after being asked to pull the plug, Stephen is able to write influential books for the future gen. ❤️
1:34 look at cheeky professor staring at felicity! Of course he’d think she was beautiful- she looks like a young Jane and felicity herself is gorgeous. Fun fact: Stephen actually asked for a kiss from felicity!
I can only imagine how surreal of a experience it is to be watching a reconstruction of a part of your life and to see someone pretending to be you reenacting that event you lived so long ago.
