- This is the first trip after my eye infection and somehow it feels like I have new eyes. I've seen so many compositions that I've never seen before that it just keeps amazing me. What do you think?

QUESTION : Do you have a photography trip that you've experienced to be terrible? What happened?
I imagine that getting over the eye infection kind of adds value to your vision. Another wonderful misty foggy morning for you. Foggy backlit trees very magical indeed. To be honest, I don't think going out this morning was the smartest idea. I didn't see good enough yet to drive the car but only realised it when I was halfway there. So once I was there, I couldn't see clearly if the shots were in focus. So I was kind of surprised when I looked at the results. I think they were amazing. I just gave the eyes some rest and then drove back home. Luckely, now a couple of weeks later, it's pretty much normal again. I'm so happy with yhe 150-400. Hopefully, I can use it for a while 🙂 thanks for watching grt guido

I kind of want to go there myself, after this.
I think I'll have to do more landscape anyway, to stretch sone photographic muscles. I started in order to shoot wildlife, but maybe because of that, I'm looking at some of your shutter speeds in shock! Cannot argue with the results.

It really felt like I had new eyes. I thought all images were crap when i shot it. Felt totally frustrated because I could not even check if the images were in focus. But when I started editing, it was like, "Oh... wow... the is quite good... different but good... 😅 yes, I've managed to send out all pre ordered calendars over the weekend, so hopefully, it will arrive soon! Fijn, dat het weer wat beter gaat met je oog infecties,. Zo zie je maar hoe je soms onverwacht gehandicapt kunt raken en zijn. Er zaten echte hele mooie foto’s bij.👏.
Ja we moeten ervan genieteb zolang het duurd voor je het weet kan het voorbij zijn. Het grappig was dat ik dit ervaren heb als een hele frustrerende ochtend. Toen ik begon te editen dacht ik o wow... dit is goed gelukt haha. Bedankt voor het kijken weer! Grt guido
I am so pleased to are able to get out and about again albeit not quite 100% yet But what a morning to be out :) Wonderful misty photos as always We are back home again after a week in Anglesey, North Wales. Photographically quite frustrating as little in the way of good light But exploring the
Amazing beaches with our dogs was so enjoyable which is what it was all about really :) You were wise not to carry on if you eyes felt uncomfortable as you still had to drive home Take care now
It's a shame you did not have some nice conditions but at least you enjoyed it and that is the important part. I actually experienced this whole morning as terrible. Driving was not a while decision, I couldn't see if the images were in focus because I simply could not see sharp myself and so I was totally frustrated. When I started to edit it I was like ow... this isn't to bad... not bad at all... quite good actually 😅 thanks for watching and the comment grt guido
I can only imagine your frustration but thankfully your OM1 helped you get the images sharp :) I do believe being out and just enjoying the experience anyway helps if you can do that :) Have you had your eyes looked by an optician/optholigist? I wonder if they have any idea of anything that could help you I’ve worn vari focal glasses for many years and recent new ones need adjusting They are ok with the camera but it’s when trying to use my laptop I have problems Going to have a chat with them tomorrow and ask them to adjust them for me. I actually think my problem is my expectation of what I achieved I actually have a few photos from the week that I really like and great ones of the dogs on the beach too :)
Guido try to use sunglasses it may help reduce your eye fatigue. Great photos !great colors!

Those sky colours were incredible. What's the longest exposure time you can have with your in camera gnd filter. Is it only available on your current om1?
Thank you. I was surprised by these results myself. Couldn't really see clear that morning, so I thought it would all be crap and was totally frustrated, but when I started editing, I realised they were pretty good. I made a mistake because I didn't use the live gnd but the live nd. On the om-1mkii that I use now, I can go up to nd128, but the original om-1 went up to nd64. The longest shutter speed depends on the amount of light and the other settings. But you can go up to 60 seconds before you have to go to bulb mode. Of course, that depends on the amount of light. In the middle of the day, that will be difficult. Thanks for watching and the comment. Your calendar is on its way! Grt guido

Vraagje: er staan dan van die bordjes dat je niet van de paden af mag. Weet je waar die voor zijn? De paarse heide plat trappen als een echte landschapsfotograaf.. hoe werkt dat? Jij bent natuurlijk iemand die mega super zorgvuldig er even stiekem tussen gaat staan? Beetje het goede voorbeeld geven he.
Tja ik stap inderdaad weleens een stapje van het pad af maar probeer altijd op te letten dat ik niks kapot maak. Ik zie mezepf niet als voorbeeld functie iedereen moet zijn eigen beslissingen maken en is daar zelf verantwoordelijk voor. Net zoals ik de volle verantwoordelijkheid voor mezelf zal nemen als iemand mij daar op dat moment op aanspreekt.
@@GuidoVanDeWaterde vraag is ‘waarom’ dat soort bordjes er staan. Hetzelfde dat mensen hun hond aangelijnd moeten houden. Dat heeft allemaal een reden. Dat je voor zonsopkomst en na zonsondergang er ook niet mag zijn is daar ook een voorbeeld van. Of vliegen met een drone. Maar ja, dan krijg je natuurlijk niet zulk mooie plaatjes he
Ik weet echt wel dat de bordjes er staan. Maar zoals je zegt krijg je die mooie plaatjes niet als je je altijd aan die bordjes houd. Die 15 minuten dat ik voor zonsopkomst of na zonsondergang erin loop neem ik voor lief. Heb er 1 keer een bekeuring voor gekregen van 104 euro. De boswachter vond dat ik de rust verstoorde door 15 minuten voor zonsopkomst toen het al aardig licht was het terrein op liep. Zelf reed hij in zijn landrover dus wie de rust het meest verstoord is de vraag. Maar goed zoals ik zei iedereen is verantwoordelijk voor zijn eigen keuzes. We doen allemaal weleens iets wat niet mag.
