Surigao City to Cebu City Day Trip | Starlite Ferries M/V Stella Maris | Ferry in the Philippines

- Welcome to another Barko Vlog! Taking a daytrip ferry from Surigao City to Cebu City, Philippines. Onboard @starliteferries6283 M/V Stella Maris. The vessel departed at 9am and arrives past 7pm completing a 10 hour journey from Surigao City. The vessel is also serving Cebu - Nasipit - Cebu route on weekdays while M/V Starlite Pioneer will serve the Cebu - Surigao - Cebu route. I am impressed as the vessel is clean including the restroom. The ticket price includes a packed meal as well. The journey is a bit rough at first but it was calmer a few hours after. Enjoy this barko vlog!

Very nice boat (ship, I mean!).and accomodation. How I wish we could have (get) similar amenities of travel from Zamboanga City to Jolo (and back). Not one of the shipping lines plying this route (approximately same duration) is affording similar service to its passenger. Several times I Travel on Montenegro similar vessel but what I experience frustratingly overcrowded. Even the promenades are jampacked with pax. There's no place for some pax to ease the boredom of lengthy sea travel. Even the Canteen is located next to oax bunks. You folks out there are so fortunate with your shipping facilities. Salaam

This is 1082km south of the capital Manila with 2 ferry rides as per google. There is also a direct flight from Manila you may choose to fly to Butuan or direct Surigao or Siargao.
