I suggest you check out the Nirvana MTV Unplugged concert. Check out the song Where did you sleep last night. This song was named after a deodorant from the early 90's that was called Teen Spirit. It was a joke. This song changed the course of music history. When this song came out it was unlike any sound at the time, people were locked in the 80's hair metal bands. The lead singer is Kurt Cobain. He committed suicide in 1994. Nirvana ended due to his death. The drummer Dave Grohl went on to form the "Foo Fighters" with Nirvana's second guitarist Pat Smear. He is the Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist for the Foo FIghters. Kurt's wife is Courtney Love who is also famous, she has a band called "Hole" and is also an actress. She was in the movie "The People Vs Larry Flint".

@Seesta Seesta Your welcome. A little bit more of a back story for you. The Foo Fighters happened because Dave was recording his own songs near the end of Nirvana. After Nirvana ended he continued to record with a friend of his. His friend went into a local radio station with one of the songs "I'll Stick Around" People loved it, a record company offered him a deal but he didn't have a band yet. There was a bidding war between record labels and he put together a band. So the first self titled Foo Fighters album is just Dave Grohl. He wrote the songs, sings, plays guitar, bass guitar, and drums.
