Even though I get the magazine I absolutely love you going through it. I love your interpretation and it causes me to look at things differently. Thank you so much!
Thank you Laura. I did giggle at about 7mins in when you said about non Hollywood stitchers - I thought you were talking to me direct because I don’t stitch or decorate for Halloween. But I really enjoyed your flip through and appreciate thr time taken to do it so thanks again.
I love your ideas. I would want to start with the owl or the witch with the arched top. I agree that it makes sense to flatten it out on top. Saves some stitching, ha ha.
I don’t stitch Halloween at all and rarely stitch any holiday because I like to work on things that can be put out all year. I still watched and enjoyed learning and finding some new ideas. Thank you! 😊
Nice flip through Laura. I need more practice at changing floss, adjusting patterns and making designs my own. I'm pretty good at changing fabric colors, but tend to stitch the called for floss colors. Watching you is a good start! ❤️🪡
Thank you so much for this video. I am a new subscriber to this magazine and I just got this issue and I am not a Halloween person at all so I thought this magazine was going to be a bust for me. Now that you said about the Skulls with the hinged frame sounds so cute. I love that idea. You have such wonderful ideas. My favorite the first time I looked at it was the Owl but now that you have given me some great ideas not to make them Halloween looking I like the idea of making them Fall themes instead. I like the Pumpkin on the Navy Blue Fabric. I think my brother would like the Spooky Brews for his bar. I guess I have to look at this issue again with a different mind set. Thanks for your wonderful ideas.
Thanks for the awesome flip thru! I appreciate you taking the time to share large photos of everything ❤️. I think those are bats in the RIP chart, not closed eyes on the moon.
I have the magazine but you always open my eyes to more possibilities with your flip-through. I can totally see a BUNNY in that balloon using a pastel color palette.
Laura, unless you get some sort of stand for your IPad, you will hurt your hand or drop the IPad doing things this way but I love that you are using the IPad to help show the smaller designs. I do like the different twist you added to this flip through very much. I think my favorite designs are the baby bat and the “Hoo” piece with the owl but there are several others I like also. I am not really a Halloween person but I think I will find some fabric and floss to stitch at least a few of these designs. Thanks for the ideas you added for fabric changes and/or partitioning some of the patterns.
I hope my copy is in the mailbox. I'll get it tomorrow. I was thinking just like you for the happy haunting...use purple fabric and change the moon to a shade of yellow/orange. I love the skull in the bottle. Meanwhile, I'm still working Summer at the Shore. I'm starting to hate it. I could have had it done three times by now if not for all the frogging.
I really wanted to stitch the bat and the skull in the potion bottle. Watching your flip thru, though, has made me want to now stitch all of them. I love Halloween. October is a big birthday month with my dad, mom, son, and daughter all within a couple days of each other. My daughter is a 24 y/o Halloween baby, lol.
Nicely done, I really like your comments and how you would do a design! Gives me food for thought as well as inspiration. Your love of different fabrics really makes me think about the difference a fabric change can make. I'm the one always experimenting with floss substitutions, but I have a tendency to stick with neutrals for my fabric. Thanks for growing my options.

Loved this walk thru the magazine. I have it digitally but listening to your ideas made it even better and really has me thinking. Thanks!

What a fun flip thru! I appreciate hearing all of your stitchy thoughts.
Great ideas on some of those....You've changed my whole way of thinking about this issue!

Laura I already looked through my copy of this magazine and I still got a ton of great ideas from your flip through!
I loved the flip through. Great ideas!

The bunny idea is genius!
I got my copy Saturday! My dad loved Halloween so I want to stitch something in his memory! Love your channel!
That’s a lovely idea!
This was amazing. Love that you encourage us to think outside the box. Thank you!

Great review. Love to hear your ideas. Can’t wait for my issue to arrive.

There are some great choices in there - I see lots of Halloween stitching in your future! 🤣

The Nevermore Raven is first on my list - because it was already on my list of raven patterns I wanted to stitch!
That’s a great one!
Laura, you have alot of great ideas for stitching halloween. I am going to stitch halloween in July.
Fun!
Now I want to go pick it up!
Yay!
