Is recent B1 test consist of conversion and audio play or just 10 minute conversation with examiner?

I'm planning to take B1 test for spouse visa extension after 2.5 Years. When my initial spouse visa was granted I submitted A1 test results. On the UK portals they advised to take A2 for visa extension, is it possible for me to skip it and take the B1 ?
