- So while I'm still off games, @justinewardeventing has been continuing Ember's training, could a career in the white boards be his forte?

Oh my god. Normally I never comment on anything but I can’t believe how muscled Ember has become. He looks so much better, absolutely gorgeous!

Wow! Justine rides him so well. She has contact, but she isn't pulling his teeth out. She has her leg on, but not kicking him forward. That has made him very relaxed and comfortable with how she's riding him. Great job Justine.
Quite frankly I wouldn't want that woman to ride my horse - she just screws him togehter with an unyielding and fidgety hand, a dreadful heavy seat whamming into his back with every step - painful to watch.
@@Dany-yi5rz Just look at how well he goes with her and you can see that he's being ridden very well.
@@Dany-yi5rz Justine rides beautifully. She is not a Maclay finalist but she rides to hounds, not for picture-perfect "hunter" rounds but as a real hunter who hunts. (Glad no foxes, stick with the bloodhounds!) She's clear with her aids, supports Ember with effective contact, and is 100% consistent. Ember is still a work in progress but the potential for the boy is spectacular. Kudos to Justine for finding him and getting him re-started in a new career.

Wow! Justine did a beautiful job w/Ember - he is maintaining a beautiful frame so round and relaxed! I am such a believer in praise as your riding they respond so well and Justine is giving him such good praise - his trot is so stunning and he loves to show it off!!

Wow Ember looks fantastic girls must be close to his proper weight if not already from his racing days. His coat looks so shiny he’s more muscles too. What a lovely mover he is and Justine rides him so well so do you Lucy lol. He popped over those jumps with great confidence and it is nice to see him so relaxed. Lovely to see Ember move so relaxed and happy💞. He is in school while his mum is recovering. This period does good to him, to your relationship, Lucy, I hope!! ❤ After "school" his own human Lucy 💖 will continue with him, ready to enjoy life together as a family. You have lots to conquer Lucy, you are both talented!! Remember to believe in yourself, in your experience and skills💕. You two will find a harmony, have faith.😚 And THANK YOU again!

Ember is really growing up, he looks well and is relaxing into his job and accepting and reacting to the aids, don't forget Justine has the experience of riding many different types and can adjust easily, once you recover you will have so much more information about how to get the best from him and slowly but surely you will have a great little horse ❤ xx

Ember is looking soooooo good. What a handsome fellow AND those flicky-feet get me everytime; I can see why you fell in love with him, Lucy. He really has great elements for dressage, and well everything, really. Slowly, slowly, steady, steady you are getting there with him. And Justine is such a talented horsewoman and genuine funny person. FYI, I did subscribe to her channel a couple of videos ago after watching one of yours; so thanks for the introduction to this great resource :) PS does anyone know how old Ember is now?

I love watching you and Justine work with horses...You both put time and effort into figuring them out, and riding them accordingly. The positive training, the amount you both communicate with them vocally, and interact with them is fantastic!! This video is a great example of how training horses, and really, all animals this way works so well. It takes time, and commitment to them, and to working with them, and it's so worth it. Look at how well Ember is doing!!! It's just wonderful to really start to see the results of everything you guys have done with him, so far. Justine IS an excellent rider. It really shows when watching her ride different horses. It's evident that she has A LOT of experience working with animals. She's great to watch, and learn from. Lucy, so much of Ember's progress is due to you. Remember this. You recognized a special horse the first time you interacted with him, and you followed your gut with him, and you were absolutely right about him. I'm sure Justine recognized it too. You gave him a great home, and life, and he's learning from two people that have really tried to understand him. Look at how well he's doing compared to when you first rode him?! Just awesome!!!!! 😊❣️
Ember looks so lovely! Glad he is coming along for you; I’d be milking this surgery so that Justine HAS to train him a bit longer. 😊 Take your time with getting back in the saddle. It’s amazing how much core strength is used just getting in the saddle and sitting the walk.

Two things I note immediately. For such a small horse, he has a bigger presence. Also, for a thoroughbred, he has a very nice tail. He is lovely. What kind of footing is that in that arena?
