Hi. I was wondering what form of tin you use to get the ocher? Plain tin oxide, or the mason yellow stain that is tin based? Thank you for this informative video. Sara

Hi Sara - I use titanium dioxide to get the ocher color in atmospheric firing. I use the tin oxide to get bright white to vibrant pink in soda firing. Hope this helps!

Hi LynnAnn, The soda ash and salt wash surfaces are fine for food surfaces. The lithium carbonate wash should be used on non-food contact surfaces or covered with a strong clear glaze if they will come into contact with food surfaces. Feel free to email me with other questions: [e-mail]
