I love this mix, but im not sure why everyone is so obsessed with crediting the person who made the playlist. Its not exactly super high effort content. Once you have all the songs chosen it would only take like 40 minutes tops to edit (when i've made hour long videos, it takes less time than that to finally add music and adjust audio levels.) The only time intensive part at all would be waiting for the video to render. Still, i appreciate the video and the choices are tasteful, but its literally just a playlist. I wouldnt exactly be demanding justice if someones spotify playlist was deleted and remade. Maybe I'm missing something
I’m going to attempt to offer some insight if you’d like, I think these curated playlists with rain and thunder hold a lot of importance to a lot of people. You can see a lot of comments talking about how they go back to this video when having a panic attack and it calms them down, or how it’s the only way someone can go to sleep every single night. A curated playlist that powerful is sure to pick up some loyal fans. And that turns into appreciation for the curator, and disdain when someone tries to reupload it as their own. On the next most viewed reupload (uncredited) there’s a ton of people thanking the uploader for creating the playlist, but ppl are correcting them so they can direct their gratitude towards the original person. Does that make it make any more sense? I completely see what you’re saying too, the curator of course had nothing to do with the creation of this music, and the fervent defense is a little odd. Sorry if this seems weird, I’m about to fall asleep at the moment and was fascinated by the concept of crediting someone who put a simple playlist together haha Okay for real, I’m about to pass out good night UA-cam
