Hi Tanner, yes, you can do that most often. However, it depends on whether the court has approved the person handling the probate for 'Independent Administrative Authority (IAA). This is something the Probate attorney can request from the Court. Most often, it is approved. That is the best way to go because it allows you to bypass the Probate court on most decisions. So, the property sale becomes much more like a regular home sale. Without IAA, you can still sell the house; however, it will typically be subject to court approval, and you will need several hearings to get permission throughout the process. I hope that helps!
