The scene where bloodsport shot peacemaker didn't look natural it seems forced to me. The greatest of all " Villain didn't create enough challenge to the Hero to look like yeah thats a great fight "
I feel like if you’ve read the comic books and are a huge fan of the DC verse (like myself) you would’ve liked it much better. The “huge starfish” is starro and fans have been waiting for years to see him on the big screen. It seems like you enjoyed the 2016 version way better… as that one was watered down tremendously to cater to general audiences. This version is my movie of the year personally, but I can definitely see why it wouldn’t be for everybody.
Can you reccomend a couple of comics that I should pic up that may change my opinion? I’m always open to have my opinion changed. after re-watching last night I felt I liked it better, I normally hate anything watered down as well.
@@Moviemassacre-mc1hl yeah. Read DC comics in general, or even watch stuff from the DCAU, because when you said "starfish" and "ridiculous", I knew you were missing out. Starro the conqueror was one of the justice league's first major villains, and he's been a problem for decades. And if I may suggest, if you don't really like the dceu check out the dcau. Far superior storytelling, great animation, complex themes, higher stakes. To me personally the dcau is the some of the best "from comics" media ever. Like, the dceu is meh (mostly crap with 2-3 great movies), mcu is only ok (kinda overhyped, but some are fun and even great), Marvel's animated universe is more miss than hit, but the dcau is penical comic book adaptation material. Starro is in more than a couple dcau shows.
Like if you didn’t like the movie that’s fine, but to “hate” it? IMO I just can’t see how a person couldn’t have had at least a fun time, but you’re entitled to your own opinion and that’s okay. To me, this just had to be better than the last suicide squad and it did just that if not that it did amazingly, that’s how I personally felt about it.
You are right the movie was made to appease the lowest common denominator. The jokes alone were juvenile and vapid.
