Good to see some of the Hovels stuff in more detail. I've been swithering over an order and this was ideal in getting an idea of what quality they were. Thank you!

Thanks for doing this. I thought Hovels were long gone, so it's good to see they are still available.

Good to see Hovels is still out there. Agree the buildings are easy to dry brush for a quick paint job. Also good to see you have a UA-cam channel. I used to check out your website but must have lost it when updating my computer 😞. Btw the resin is polyester which is why it is brittle but cheaper than the polyurethane resin most companies have been using for the last couple of decades 😁 if you are okay with it being a bit more vulnerable to knocks etc it does mean you can get more bang for your buck.

I have so many Hovels buildings and they have all stood the test of time. In particular that Arab Tomb I have used in a variety of settings from the Crusades to the Indian Mutiny. I began a 15mm Pony Wars project when Baccus republished the rules and discovered to my surprise that Hovels also do a range of 15mm Pony Wars figures - they're not bad.

I still buy Hovels and have done for at least 30 yrs. 'Cheap' mdf just isn't that cheap these days. I had the iron age settlement in 15mm, but eventually sold it on. Still have a set of middle east terrain in 20mm, including that mosque, plus some 20mm WW2 buildings etc, plus the La Haye Sainte farm in 15mm (this is still the best example on the market).
They have character and detail that mdf can't replicate. Great to see another enthusiast out there- I was beginning to think there was only me left. There was a rumour a few years ago that they were folding, but thankfully reports of their demise were an exaggeration.
Next purchase for me is the 15mm Hougoumont complex. Keep the faith 😊

I'm considering the 25mm La Haye Sainte as my next purchase.
