Hey Andrea I just started working with Aura but it looks like a one day or overnight wait after both sides are coated heavily with Graco sprayer. Then carefully into car, careful not to let them bump each other I use plastic baggies as pads between.
usually not spraying the boxes, instead I roll them. CCoat can be rolled with 1/4" nap that has been worked over. The doors and drawers faces get sprayed at the shop after being manually cleaned, lightly sanded, and primed with shellac primer.
Hey maybe it’s not durable enough, I’ve been spraying polycryllic over the top to good effect lately Cabinet coat should be good too But if it’s oil based and yr doing it every day eventually the brain hurts
@@flowzone1128 doesn't top coating with polycrylic negate the benefits of using low VOC Aura? How are the cabinets holding up that you did before you started top coating?
Always enjoy seeing the upgrades you implement into your business. Keep it up brother.
Thanks Mike!!!
Can cabinet coat be tinted to any color? Do you buy it at Ben Moore store?
Do you paint the underside of the upper cabinets?
Yes most of the time, a bit of a pain
@@flowzone1128 love to see a video of your sanding, priming, painting the boxes and face frames, sans doors. Good stuff!
How long do you wait to deliver the cabinet doors to customers after you get done spraying them? When do you feel safe the paint is completely dry?

Hey Dan, how are the fumes from the Bin shellac primer? I've heard several painters rave about this primer but I have yet to use it.
Do you ever spray the cabinet boxes and face frames or doors only?

Is AURA durable enough? Why not use Cabinet Coat?
