I have worked hard to build this channel and would be sad to lose it for something so trivial. Thanks for understanding. Peace.
The player which appeared the most was Goh V Shem!!! When he's in top form, he is deadly.....hope he and his partner can regain their form in time for the World Championships.
mai2324 Mao I miss them very much.....
Alven Kong Yea, me too..... I hope they can regain their form in the WC before it's too late..
mai2324 Mao now they always lose early in every tournaments.. I hope they'll get gold medal in WC
mai2324 Mao china number 1
mai2324 Mao
Super bro
Can we just talk about the reaction time of the guys that are defending? The speed is incredible
Shuttlespeeds are reduced more than 50% already after 50ms which means the actual defending speed is probably less than 100-150km/h. Even so, still difficult but not 400km/h-difficult!
Ayeeeee
Jack123 Gaming lol?
@@aspire6114 haha
Jack123 Gaming you play ml? Whats ur ID?
Goh VS might have the best doubles smash I’ve ever seen. His form is literally perfect and he has some insane jumping ability
billionaire: i have a Bugatti Chiron.
Kolding: hold my shuttle.
Underrated comment
0-426 in less than a second.
the fact that the guy was able to weakly return the 426kph shot is mad
not too hard if you are a pro badminton player, or have more than around 5 years of competitive playing
@@michaelyu4116 smash is easy to turn back once you get the game. But there's only so many times
that speed produced from the racket hit the shuttle first. the shuttle will be slower when it reaching you on other side.
420 kph = 116 m/s
badminton lenght 13.4 m
diagonal shot up to 20 m
so you got 0.2s to react
@@storyanaksekolah2 I think 0.2 seconds is actually the exact reaction speed of an average human
@@easonlow3381 but you also need to factor in the time to position the racket and get in position to flick the wrist
Could you imagine getting 399 kmh how frustrating that would be that you didn't get 400
No. I can't imagine making it to 399 kmh.
But how excited you'd be after knowing it's even 426km/h
My like just took you from 399 to 400 😱😱
OCD~
@CRIC Shots Or maybe he just got 399?
It’s so crazy how small the field looks on camera versus actually playing on it - insane how quick these guys move
Why is it always Malaysian Lee C W, Goh n Tan is good in smashing. But now they rnt as good as they were. I miss the old Malaysian pair. Hope Teo Ee Yi, Ong Yew Sin, Aaron Chia, Lee Zi Jia and Soh can be our Malaysia's future
Lee Zi Jia in 2021 : Say no more
Because age ... Think that
Yes they're now 😭
Well that aged well..
Omg, who call it?
That deceptive backhand flick by Goh at 7:16 is just so cool
Amazing bgm which makes me watch these wonderful smashes again and again.. so refreshing.
Proud to be a Malaysian Seeing all our players bring showed off
Yeah by your own people who made this lol
@@jhampfutzloh6045 jalous? 😂
I still remember, when BWF used average speed as their measurement method instead of initial speed like they do now, and people freaking out about numbers like 295km/h^^ Would've been really interesting to know, what numbers young Fu Haifeng and Lin Dan could achieve with the new method.
Yes.... I find it misleading actually. I liked the old system better. And trying to compare old players with new ones becomes impossible. Young Jung Jae Sung and Fu Haifeng... OUCH. I think their numbers would be off the charts.
Well, if fu hai feng are that fast, how about lim sui king?
Goh v Shem and lcw is my favorite players these two player are fantastic player and they amaze the audiences love u
Goh V Shem is in almost half of 20 of those high speed smash. So skilled.
No...no.only kevin & marcus they always win in final
@@IndraGunawan-nf8cw are you stupid or what?😂
You had missed out, Lee Chong Wei smash speed 403, 409 & 417
This vid is 2 years ago, maybe those record didn't exist before. I am sorry if the or some of the records you've mentioned is recorded 2 years ago. 🙂
3:43 lee chong wei
tan boon heong?
AAKZD
Damn, didn't knew Goh V Shen is so powerful......
look at how high he jump @@
chai jack leng lol.. Pretty obvious when you saw him leaped in the air with that power generated from the great timing he hit them. His smashes penetrated many good Defenders like LYD, and more, with a good front court partner setting it up for him.
it's more about the technique and executing it perfectly.
He is absolutely weak if they facing Kevin and Marcus
markis kido.. because old technology .
Malaysia And denmark what a superb, but i still in love with Muhammad ahsan and praveen jordan smash😁
Kinda miss most of them on the court ;D those golden times
The sound of the smash, the sheer speed and the players hang time and uncoiled look are unmatched in a n y sport.Period, end of sentence, exclamation mark! B O O M!
Do you mean that same uncoiled look as a Pro Vollyball player going up for a power serve or for a match winning spike.....?.......or do you mean the sound made when a Professional Baseball player drills a 100+mph pitch with a wooden bat and cracks that fucker into the next county....?..... or perhaps you mean the sound of a Pro Golfer's swoooooshing club head makes before the "ping" of contact with the ball is made, that is heard from the 500yards away that the ball lands at???? Yea boy....that little shuttle cock is intimidating!!!!! Ever been to a Hockey game??
Ever heard Mirko Crocop or Bas Rutten land a left kick to some poor bastards ribs??....The Power, Coiled-Energy, and Sound of Impact that those two guys generate.....end entire Careers!!!! Get out and live a little Chief, it's good for you.
P.S.- a 244mph smash.......is murderous............a 265mph smash should be a felony assault charge, minimum....I get it.
you don't say period after a period, and you don't say "end of sentence" and then continue it. what is wrong with you? Also hang time in this sport is not unmatched, there is still volleyball, and there is still basketball.
He doesn't get out of the house much, cut him some slack.......zero, blank, the end! and another thing.......sorry, had to.
Every sport is a sport until you play football for 90 minutes
So much Goh V Shem but no Tan Boon Heong!?!? 😮
Speed meter used during TBH time is different from now.
unofficially the fastest ever smash speed recorded was 493kph, by Tan Boon Heong.
@@rahmahhassan9843 which game?
yes tan boon hong smash world record holder
I'm glad you specified "unofficially". TBH’s smash record smash was hit in a test situation - so with plenty of prep time, repeated consistent feeding and no pressure. That makes it significantly easier to hit a good smash, compared to in the middle of a tense match when the shuttle is hit to you by a top-class opponent who’s putting the shuttle in the most difficult place possible. Without any hate intended I'd give more credit to Kolding's record...but that's my personal opinion
@@noname-ds2rr It wasn't in a game precisely. In 2013 Yonex brought together TBH and LCW for the purpose of breaking the Guinness World Record for fastest badminton hit in what was also a "test" of Yonex Nanoray Z-Speed. Literally someone repeatedly feeding easy shots for the sole purpose if breaking the record. I'm certain if other players like Fu Hai Feng, Kokding or Goh V were participating the results may had been different
@@jorgesabori1222 also the indoor conditions ,temperature, humidity were controlled,

I remember seeing a 400km/h smash by Ko Sung Hyun when playing XD in the French Open against Fischer and Pedersen, it was crazy!
remember that fastest smash is tan boon heong from malaysia 493kph
Conclusion: Goh V Shem is most powerful smasher.
world record is set by tan boon heong 493kph
@@koolbanana7094 But GVS seems smashing faster more freuently.
Amazing... love these smashes !
that's what she said XD
493km/h - Tan Boon Heong (Malaysia), 2013, current Guinness World Record.
In controlled condition
@@silentguardian1343 wonder if anyone would have beat that record in the same room.. ohh let me guess, none of them...
@@braderico1847 Apparently thats true hahaha
@@braderico1847 well not exactly.
Mads Kolding has the fastest smash record, also in a test condition - a whopping 503kph back in 2017. recorded by scientists from Aalborg University and Sportslab. The record was filmed and documented by TV2 Denmark.
That was 473kmph not 493
I really like playing the smashes in badminton when frustrated with life hahah.. Really helps release stress.
Sooooo a 402km/h shot was returned. WELL. Aaaand this Kolding dude is on another level. Jeez.
That one Lin Dan smash in the 2009 All England Final....
Tan Boon Heong set a world record of 493kmph!
Great work looking for the speed cam everywhere, thanks for the video!
Loved the defence at 8:27 against that 401 kph speed
Where my Malaysian brothers and sisters at?
Goh V Shem is so fucking beautiful when he jumps his form is absolute perfection
Give a minute of applause for the guy who played 426km/h smash
nice video + Music !
What music

Goh's smash is the best nowadays.

LIEM SWIE KING is a jumping smash creator for a first time, and they called him "KING SMASH".
your music choice complete the video perfectly. nice work.
Satwik sairaj has just smashed it at 565 km/ hr in Korean open. A new world record…🎉❤
Slightly inaccurate. 565 was in the controlled environment for the world record shot. He got a 500 in-game in the Korean open, which is still incredible, and they're both world records I believe.
fu has been dominating the hard smasher for more than a decade, but now it is time for the younger generation to take it over from him.. if you watch mens double more often the comentator will talk about Goh v Shem jumping smash technique and how powerfull his smash goes, so that is why he is everywhere when it comes to badminton smash.. by the way this is a good video and nice compilation..
What an incredible difference- 8:43 ~ 9:24
Goh V Shem deserve a prize for his most attendance in this list.
Goh V S master of smash and Kavin S Sukamoljo master of trick shots
Trick shot peter gade. Kavin serve trick
A wonderful video! All nice smash! Love Goh V shem's smash best! What's is beat sound in this video? I really like it!!

Lee Chong Wei's latest record 417 today at Japan Open finals
Awesome just awesome as usual shuttle flash 😎
Is it just me who feels all of this is easy to look at until you start playing ?
same, just started, and thought I could smash, no.
@@ishaankataria4742 If there's one thing I'm good at in badminton, it is smashing. I still lose many times because defense in badminton is more required than smashing and smash is not the only attack.
@@ishaankataria4742 i played for 6 years and i am getting there but its not that good but since i am 12 i cna consider that
@Facebook I don't want to😐Please don't scare me like that😂
Nice video and channel bro, I subbed and liked
The music is great.
what Album?
The fact that their drop will be like a smash to me
I love Fu Haifeng's stroke😝
I(Right-handed player) often swing like him in front of mirror.
This is beauty of sports
if not for the video being made recently, we would have seen Fu’s smashes everywhere. By the way, Goh V Shem is just an outstanding smasher
It's amazing that some of the smashes are able to be returned.. I think it's pure reflex of thousands of hours training there
Tan Boon Heong(Malaysia's men doubles) have the most powerful smashes... he can smash up to 493km/h
that's under lab condition sponsored by yonex where all air flow is settled
that would be different if he can achieved at official tournament
Shuba-Feen well tan was a great smasher but nowhere near Fu. Go look at the top smash in any tournament in the era of fu cai and lee jung. It was always fu first and jung second.
Fu Hai Feng will forever be the king of badminton smash.
can someone please explain in detail how the smash speed is recorded, or if they use the gun then where in the smash is it recorded? at the end? in the middle?
Hahah theres a bar like beside the amphire, its a speed detector, every ball returns has records, try to replay and you can see how 402 was recorded
IMHO the defending is the hardest and craziest part.
Hendra Setiawan from Indonesia is d only sample that power is not makes u win, but Knowledge did.
Mantab bro
hes full of trick player
That's why he is matched with ahsan. Ahsan is a shooter. They complete each other
Adit Yura
I can’t imagine what on real life it would be. I play badminton too and I can’t even catch a 200 mph but respect to these ppl
That Mads guy is actually mad!
wow amazing video and smashes
Consistently deadly strong smashes, steep smashes, executed from baseline, high leaped in the air, and stylish? Goh V Shem.
Most others only did on only one or two occasions.
Iya only deadly strong smashes Kevin sanjaya& Marcus Gideon. Powerfull, faster, point mecine always win ............(China, Malaysia)

I have to see this in high quality to see shuttle in and slow - Mo also
I am also Badminton player good shots
Actually a lot of these smashes are biased in that the speed of a smash decreases dramatically if the distance needed to travel is long. Ex the same powered smash from mid court vs back court will appear faster based on kph( km per hour). Also, a same powered smash that travels steeper rather than flatter will also appear faster based on kph. Typically, the king of back court smashes would have to be Fu Hai Feng.
Alan Zhu I think they measure the speed... Moments after they hit the shuttlecock... Because before they were only able to measure the speed as it passes the net... I'm pretty sure they can and do measure the speed when the shuttle has just been hit...... Correct me if I'm wrong
Alan Zhu and yeah fu hai feng is the King
fggggtyyyuu
Fu Hai Feng is the king for sure. U ever see the difference in size between his left and right arm?? XD
Even Steen commentator said, Goh V Shem probably has the most powerful smash. Goh V Shem did a lot of baseline smashes when he wasn't injured. And his smashes steepness and the height he leaped in the air.
Look at no.2 from this video. 393kph from baseline, smashed to sideline, and that steep.
wow ! Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk, his smash is 402 KPH.no.2 of Fastest SMASHES.
