Yeah I mean Dubstep hasn't "died" by any stretch. Now, I will say it depends on where you live. In the states, eastern coast, one of it's haydays was in Atlanta. Where I can tell you. Shit. Went. Down.
But people's interest has definitely gone with time.
I personally love the shit they were coming out with years ago. But they still be putting up some heavy hitters for sure. But this ish right here is nostalgia in a bottle my friend 🥂

Actually, that's the track that got me into drum and bass. When I first listened to it, it was like an awakening. I never had so much feelings at once: nostalgia, anticipation, pleasure, happiness and emotions I still cant classify. Now im listening to it again and realized it had a big influence on what I was going to decide, to do and to experience in my life...thank you so much for making this masterpiece!!

the reharmonization is so beautiful, i love that they have a touch of the original chords in the beginning just for context but then introduce the new uplifting ones. and the brass parts just take this to a new level. very grateful for this timeless mood boosting anthem

April, 1, 2021 this remix is now 10 years old today! God I remember not liking this remix at all cause I loved the original more, but damn after some years this really grew on me! Very good D&B remix of a Dubstep track! So nostalgic! The Prototypes killed it here!

I know right? Now it's all terrible drumstep that sounds way too close to dubstep (which I hate). 2004-2012 were the best years for DnB imo. There are albums released past that which I like (such as ShockOne's Universus), but the good stuff seems to be becoming rarer and rarer. :(
