A flat of that size in the Northern Quarter would probably cost the best part of £400,000 now March 2020 - Kirstie and Phil where spot on with their assessment. Today the Northern Quarter is littered with apartments, bars, restaurants and coffee shops.
Some people are just not smart enough to buy in the city. A city is like a river - it never stagnates or stays the same. These guys are clueless. The Vaults are now located within seconds of bars, cafes and restaurants offering everything you could need. Piccadilly train station and Piccadilly Gardens are both only a few minutes' walk, offering transport links and more shops, cafes and restaurants. There is an ALDI supermarket and gym only a five minute walk away too. I checked out the selling prices of the flat with the balcony that they liked in the 'gay zone' versus the value of the Vaults now. The flat they fell in love with sold for 260,000, but almost every flat in the Vaults that has sold in the past couple of years has sold for more.
these guys have no vision at all, they are young now but will they always party? will they not start looking at potential for when they get older. 10 min from town area good grief, that place is worth KKKKs now. Youngsters can be so shortsighted
Another case where they want to get a mansion for the budget of a studio. Don't we all want more than we can afford? But you can't live in a dream. Got to be real dudes.

How soon after this show was filmed, ~20 years ago, did the NQ start to become "nice"?
@@TheM750 About 2007-ish, so not long at all.
What a gem that flat was in the NQ.
Pip and Kirstal’s know their stuff 👍🏻
How would taking out that wall affect the ceiling height in the hallway? I could see it making it taller but is that a bad thing?
I wonder if the area they were afraid to purchase in ended up being a hot spot for developers and It was re vamped?

I think they think they have a million dollars for a loft .... wow 😮
That Colin guy is a bit of all right - but that was 20 years ago .I wonder what he is doing now and if they are still together
They want it all but not willing to pay for it...

Leasehold is such a joke. So glad it doesn't apply up here.
I'm not a fan of this episode at all!
This show is SO OLD! Look at that computer on the desk in the spare room! Laughable!!
Look at that smartwatch on your wrist - so laughable. Commenter in 2040.
