Wow it was really great getting to meet you and watch you buckin' those logs. Man Bunyan was so cool I really got to see a lot of Logging equipment and saws and splitters. Without a doubt you were the hit of the entire show. Just shows how much we all appreciate and love you. Good to see you back and energized again. I think we all could see you were tired in you last couple of vids. I hope you have a match for that axe cover and are able to enjoy using it.
I watch your videos and am very humbled by your sharpening on your power saws. It definitely makes me watch my chips and practice hand filling to have sharp chains that last and cut like butter
Spending time with people all over Western PA and certainly at bunyan in Ohio was the best part! Even made friends at a Rural King. Can’t take you anywhere lol. Next time will do even more cutting gotta let the trees grow a bit 🤜🏼🤛🏼❤️
I wish u would have went to the Paul Bunyan show many yrs ago when it was still in NelsonVille, OH/Hocking College where ODNR has college courses and Ohio department of Forestry has college class and Ohio fire academy has classes. I use 2 go 2 the Bunyan show every yr when it was down there. And also that’s where ROCKY BOOTS use 2 be made. And it was also the perfect location for the Bunyan show because it was in Wayne National Forest where there is Plenty of forestry work going on.
@@austindenotter19 Not really, its important when cutting big wood too. Accelerating the engine quicker means there's a smaller chance of the clutch slipping when restarting a cut burried in deep wood after a stop.
Nice to meet you mam. Great to see you taking all the people in Buckin. Love the communication going on in this community. That ported 500i rips and doesn't rat out on smaller wood like the stock. They did a good job on that one for sure. Love ya brother. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓

Buckin, I dug my grandpas old Mccullock Pro Mac 650 out of storage and got it running. The 20-inch chain my grandpa (God rest his soul) has on it says it is a 72-drive link but everywhere I look and cross reference the chain says it takes a 70-drive link chain. I know you're a Mccullock man, could you steer me in the right direction for the proper 20-inch bar and chain for this old Pro Mac 650? I would only use it for cutting firewood. Thank you in advance to anyone that could help with advice. Thank you for what you d=o Buckin.. I found your channel a few weeks ago and I love what you do... God bless
Buy a 70 and see if it fits. The link spacing….325,3/8,404 is the sprocket size. If the sprocket size is correct it’s all about fitting around the bar. It does or it doesn’t. The .050/.063 type number is most important to the bar, it’s the width of the guides/oil spreaders.
If the 72 is on the drive links of the chain, that is the Oregon chain company code which means that it is a .050 gauge chain, not 72 drive links. So it is probably a .050 gauge, 3/8” pitch chain with 70 links. Hope this helps
one thing i know for sure 6 weeks ago at my moms funeral in texas she passed away at 89 years old god bless her i was just thinking there it was a 108 degrees and for some odd reason i thought well my ms 261 wouldn't do much here but alert the cops:) just trying to find a tree while i was out smoking cigs not much there you couldnt cut down with a sharp butterknife.
