  • The new Payday 3 skill tree is here! John made a super duper build for shredding opponents with it, and has decided to share it. Let's go!

I've been working on compiling such a build myself as well and it's hella fun to just spam smokes and mark everything. Even funnier, Misdirect can be so broken that when you stand in your own smoke, a Bulldozer misses basically every shot. :D
I do however not understand why you picked Skimming The Ground (generally a Stealth skill) and Duck And Weave (you hardly ever shoot enemies from behind). What I would much rather recommend is Fortitude with Pain Asymbolia. I also don't think you even need Adaptive Armor, Standard Lining is fine. All of that allows you to get an immense damage output, you're tankier and faster as well (Threat Assessment for even more tankyness).

Appreciate the feedback! My thinking on STG was that it would help with moving in cover. I brought Duck and Weave because, in my experience at least, I've been doing well getting behind foes for that big damage buff. I'll certainly try out those tweaks you suggested though!

Thank you very much for the idea of this build, i took my own turn on it and tried to make the throwable supply a little more steady by adding "ammo specialist" and "scrounger".

Nah, you spend full on the mover skill line? You burnt the kitchen with this one 😭

What's wrong with Mower? I think it compliments the Ziv quite well and really lets it go off.

I ran a build similar to this, 'cept it focused on Fortitude and Enforcer with a silenced Reinfeld. It felt damn good one-tapping Heavy SWATs; leaving basketball-sized holes in their backs has never been easier.
While I still miss the old version of the skill (stun resistance was nice), Hardy has some great synergy with your other skills if you're an Assassin with flashbangs as that 2 second grace period gives you a small window to blind everyone and dish out the marks before shredding them to get that sweet, sweet overheal. It also doubles as a repositioning tool if you're caught out in the open and need to get to somewhere more advantageous - it's saved me from getting downed quite a few times.
I considered using Soft Assets with the skill line since I've used it before with Standard Lining (surprisingly good if you want to maintain your only plate in the middle of a firefight without relying on ARKs), but I'd need to test it out before saying anything else.

I think this build woule benefit more, if you used an standard lining, as you got more downs, better mobility, better dmg resistance, and combined with Clean state, you won't need to rely on armor bags at all...

I'm enjoying marking enemies being fleshed out to provide more tactical bonuses. Just wish we could manually mark regular SWAT.
