I was supremely bummed when I found out Keaton passed. I had just found the band maybe weeks prior and was really looking forward to seeing him perform live. Such a powerful voice. I'm glad there is more of his work for fans to enjoy and I'm thankful the band is releasing it. RIP 🙏

It's not reading into it too much, it happens a song comes out after something like that happens, only then do we pay attention to the cries and the pain.
I thought he died of complications of acute pancreatitis? That's what his obituary said. Where does it say he had a long term illness? Sympathy was released 7 years ago so it was likely 8+ when made so I'd just like to know for lyrical context.
