I am 61 and have started learning riding secretly without getting noticed by anyone in my family. I want to do a Leh-Ladakh trip at the earliest. After watching this vedio, I am doubly inspired to go for my dream ride. Mr Acharya, you are a great inspiration for people like me.

I am nearing 40 and am getting depressed a lot as I lost a lot of money in business. I lost my life's saving. I felt I had been pushed back some 20 years. I was feeling down as I felt I had lost my savings when almost I was past half my life. I had been a biker all through my life. So I diverted my attention to it and am going on some long rides within Tamilnadu. But, I was feeling anxious about it too as I am of the opnion that life is almost coming to a conclusion as soon as I had hit 40. But this man had proved me otherwise. Now I know, I have the time. I have already planned a trip in the next 3 days. Now, I will do the trip not with anxiousness, but with pure enjoyment. I have a lot of my life ahead. I have time. Life is not over. I will earn, save and ride and live.

Motorcycling is just not a hobby but it is true experience of life on road. It gives lessons of life and you will get to learn a lot.

Dude, I'm 47 years old and was in garment business for 18 years. I quit the business right before the COVID pandemic as I had gone through a lot of financial problems in the last 5 years of the business. Though I'm still not recovered from my debts and bank loan, after sitting doing nothing at home, I somehow managed to start traveling a lot. And I even started a UA-cam channel in 2021which got stuck in the beginning itself due to the 2nd lockdown and financial problems. Desperate to get some peace of mind I started traveling but this time ALONE on my scooter. Eventually I was able to revive my channel and I am riding solo a lot since last may. Just came back yesterday from a 2 day ride. Last week I did a 5 day solo ride of 872 kilometres which is quite an achievement for me🤣 as I have never gone such distances ever in my life on a motorcycle (My brother's BMW 310 GS) . Bikes especially Sports super bikes ..... I'm so passionate about bikes and riding. So try to ride as much as possible. You are just about 40. Long way to go. 😍 Face every hurdles in life. Nothing will last forever. If you are in a bad phase now, then it's not gonna last forever and you will be alright soon. So let's face it and do what you love the most. Trust me, For an uphill there's a downhill. Believe in it.All the best .... from KERALA 🙏👍

@@rohi.v3873 I always keep my bike in top shape. Change the tyres every 12k kms. Change the battery every 3 years. Follow the service manual for replacements of fluids, cables. Till now, in 60k kms you get the last 5 years, I haven’t had a single problem. Not even a puncture. Also, I ride a bike that I can afford to completely leave behind if there’s a problem. I took up riding late in life, at age 50. My wife reluctantly agreed after extracting a few safety-related promises, for instance, that I won't ride a high-power sports bike. So I started with a very modest 300cc Kawasaki model with upright cruiser-like ergonomics, which is equally suited for city commutes as well as longer rides including off-roading on unpaved roads. Even the salesman advised me to go for a 500cc or 650cc as he said they have "more presence on the road" - But I'm happy to take my time (literally on the road, as well as the journey of my evolution as a biker) at my own pace. So far the longest off-city ride I've done is no more than a couple of hours, so this man GV's story gives me inspiration to build my skills & stamina for a cross-country tour, such as the Himalayas. Thanks, Sir.

Fully intend to retire from my lifelong career in advertising at 56 and with the free time I will have by then, I want to attempt 3 things - a postgraduate degree, riding across the continent and setting up my own business. Do consult family and doctors. Slowly build up your health and strength. When you feel ready and everybody around you is also confident, do give it a shot.
Otherwise you can ride anywhere closer home too. Its all about being on the bike and taking that journey. :)

    I'm 44 n few days ago I realized soon I will be 50.
I decided after 50 I would find reason not to ride because of age and riding bike all india has been a dream.
The last bike and last time i rode is a samurai which was 20 years ago, I realized enough of waiting, decided and booked Himalayan 450 in December. Just waiting for the bike delivery.
Once I receive the bike I planned to start riding bike throughout India
