Hornady Black 168 shoots the smallest groups in my 20”. 1”-1.25” Rem CL 150 and Fed Fusion 150’s 1.5”. Everything else I’ve tried so far is 2” to 3”. Definitely fun to shoot!
That is some pretty damn good shooting my friend. I have the 16" and although having to send it back twice to Ruger, it is now shooting the way it's expected. I have bought this ammo from Palmetto for the 6.5 grendel with good performance. I'm planning to purchase some of the 308 soft point based on what I saw but I want to make sure I get it right. You were shooting the 168 grain, right? Please, let me know. Thanks for sharing!
Are your gas systems stock? Have a 16 inch but can't figure out if it has modified gas block? Had it for over a year and haven't shot it yet. Finally got scope and moded pistol grip and stock. Loaded up in ammo now. Thanks for excellent video! Great shooting!
Thank you brother! They both are the upgraded version 2 from Ruger. I did a video on my swapping them out. Setting 2 was changed a little on the later version. Wonderful rifles. Both of mine run flawlessly. Good luck with yours.
@mateos8083 hands down it's the best for the money. I have only one complaint. I am unable to set my scope back to 0 on the dials after I sight it in. I'm able to do that on the Nikon and other brands
@publicdefender77 thanks for the reply. Ive seen alot of your ammo testing videos but could you tell me what brand/weight ammo you recommend for the 20" sfar.
@mateos8083 as of latey I have stocked up on the PSA AAC ammo and out to 225 yards it has been a winner. I will be getting it out to 400 and 600 yards next. Looking forward to seeing how it will group.
@marcmills9314 I had a few issues on setting 2 on the old gas block but ever since I replaced it with Rugers updated version it has been perfect. Also running suppressed has been more reliable.
Love my SFAR!! Thx for staying true to the SFAR Family!
Great information!!!
@@BobIreland-n6t glad you enjoyed it. You are the reason why I make these videos, so thanks for the comment.
Torn between the 6.5 and the 308 20 " but glad to see it's an accurate rifle. Cheers from Italy!
@@AM-yr7rz I'm all for the 308. I feel that round is tried and true.
I want one of those rifles so bad . Awesome job
@@SteveandSusiesHomestead Thanks! I recommend you get one 😆
I got the 20” because I liked the look. Velocity 2827 fps. At 680yds 19 moa

@jayperreira2778 I'm very happy with that cheap AAC. Hard to beat that for the price. Half of the Hornady Black's.
@ will take me some time to get some to try. We don’t have much choice around here.
@jayperreira2778 I order them all by mail. palmettostatearmory.com/aac-308-winchester-ammo-168-grain-otm-20rd-box.html
@@publicdefender77 I do order from PSA but cannot have it mailed as I’m in HI. I have to send it to my niece and pick it up from her in GA. 😬

Thank you! The first groups on the upper left targets were the 168fmj and the middle target groups were the 150 grain soft points

How do you like the primary arms slx? I'm thinking of buying one for my 20" sfar, still haven't shot it yet. Love the sfar videos!

I just purchased one and installed it on a 16" 6.5 grendel. I really like this scope.

At which distance were you shooting, & at which distance were they zeroed? Thanks for this great video!
@apaloneaspera5686 Thank you! Shooting at 125 yards with a 100 yard 0.
Ppl have been saying these have gassing issues your thought?

so i guess its for the extra fps, reliability not accuracy
how come this is lighter than m16a4
Both right under 7lbs without accessories.
100 yards.
@@lmbear 125 yards. My range is odd. The target has to be by the berms. I just got done filming 225 yards. It should be good.
