Today I'll officially be introducing my Goliath Birdeaters - Theraphosa blondi & apophysis SLINGS/JUVENILES. I'll be rehousing them into a larger enclosure that is easier to work with. One thing, though.. Now my entire body itches (and hurts) from all of their urticating hairs.
Theraphosa blondi (Goliath Birdeater)
Theraphosa apophysis (Pink Foot Goliath)

As a certified beekeeper, I can make you a good deal on a used bee suit. 🤣 Such gorgeous babies! So jealous!
The slings of the stirmi actually has pink feet too. The difference between the three Goliath bird eaters as slings is that the the apophysis has all feet that are pink, the stirmi has has four pink feet, and the blondi has none at all. That’s how you can tell the three species apart as slings.
I would love to have a pink footed Goliath. A friend asked me today if I had a pink foot. I told no. I have a pink salmon bird eater, a B😂razilian black, and a mexican red leg. The two I just mentioned are slings. I really like my tarantulas.
Funny how they differ in behavior. I have a Apophysis and it hasn't kicked hair once. Skittish, yes, but no hairs. Cool video though👍.
You can fix the Tarantula hair problem by getting a “manscape” crop preserver sponsorship and get a free shaver for yourself. 😊
Nice work 😂
Yooooo 😂😂😂😂 tarantulascape, what a business
Thank you for all the turmoil you put yourself through so we can see your beautiful tarantulas!
😊😊😊😊😊😊😢🙏🤝
I love how I’ve been watching him for almost four years. Back to back, but sometimes I’ll switch but I swear til this day he still posts. It’s hella entertaining how he does it!
Same!! Absolutely love his channel
I had a T one time who molted right after arriving. He was stressed and lost like 4 legs in the molt including pedipalps. I was so worried about him and almost considered putting him down, but something told me not to. I helped hold his food for him with tongs during feedings until he molted again, and grew ALL of his legs back at once, practically to the perfect size. He was a beast, LOL.
I've always been fascinated by Goliath bird eaters, they're so cool ❤
It’s been a long time i didnt watch your vids, always good vibes w you !
Welcome back the the “hair kicking” adventures of “Crazy, one handed, foot creature”… =]
Thank you that you risk all that itching to show those beautiful tarantulas :) I used to be scared of most spiders I saw……until I started watching your videos 😃again thank you 🙏
Im watching this on this day and I cant help but laugh and giggle!! Thanks for what you do!! 🤗🤗🤗🫂🫂🫂🫂
Thank you. Love your content and critters.
Sorry, but everytime they kicked Hairs at you, i had to laugh out loud xD
I love these once with white legs. They are so beautiful 🥺
i would recommend moving the Ts into their new enclosure. then, you can (hopefully) receive fewer hairs and get the moss moved over to their new enclosure.
Like old times I love your content 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Im not sure if its completely true, but when i got my Goliath pink foot a long time ago, i remember reading as well as being told that, that species had the worst hairs that they kick, out of all other species. Supposedly they can causs oozing open sores... also some other bad stuff. I cant remember all of it but it was bad enough to scare the crap out of me... although i couldn't say forsure, because i was always super careful... 8
Maybe a hazmat suit would help with the urticating hairs? Definitely a mask and goggles and gloves. But I dunno, you're the expert! Love watching your videos
One of your best videos yet and, a hairy situation 😅😅😅
Goliath Tarantulas are my favorite spiders🤩 they're awesomeee! Who agrees?
I'm sure miss lord have mercy reborn into one of these guys 😂
Their hairs SUCK and they love throwing them in the substrate. It wouldnt hurt to get cheap swimming goggles and wear a mask+gloves when changing it out after they get bigger. I made my optometrist's day as he had only read about them in training and I was his first patient with that needed plucking. 😅
They also love wrecking the water dish fiercely and tearing up decor.
You should make a video where you put different kinds of tarantulas hair in different parts of your skin so that you can let us know how it feels. For science.
:)
he gonna die
I agree
They are gorgeous like you said though
I like your videos.
Now he must shoot his own hair at them to assert dominance
😂
Wen u said the scientific name my captions said Sarah full sauce lol
I hope that as theyse guys grow theyle develop beautyfull pink colors only 3 of my pink foot tarantulas had beautyfull pink colors on em! 🥰 But then again u have like...12! Im sure ul get some beautyfull ones!
Edit: only pink death, pink balerena and rose petel where a beautyfull coat of pink lol theyre not ALWAYS pink lol
Cause their frickin awesome ❤

@@packsomatolMAKO why tho
@@futekina correcting people helps them learn how to spell. im not trying to be rude
Nah I'm not trying to say you're being rude, I just thought it was kind of a funny reply to his comment
@@futekina oh LOL
Hey dude I watch all your tarantula vids every opportunity I get nw the issue is I have a slight fear of spiders BT not when it comes to tarantula so can u give me some advice as I'm wanting to get a tarantula BT wouldn't know where to start
Awww cute little pink feet!!
Epicc
I would wear gloves and goggles! You brave
I'm getting itchy just watching this
Hair galore
my suggestion is a hazmat suit :D
Our burgundy Goliath loves to kick hairs omg I'm like ur gonna go bald
Oooo pink foot golaieth! I love those litel guys! But theyre anoying as hell to deal with! 😅 I have 5 of em and when i first got one i was freaking out cuz i was new at tarantula owning back then and she imidiently kicked hairs at me lol it wasent a very good expirience but shes grown up to be quite the beautyfull specamin i feel in love with theyre size and foot colors and ive raised more of those guys since so i guess i have some expirience with em lol but still i wonder if its sometimes worth it lol 🤣
Edit: theyre names are pink death, pink ballerena, mis.lover cuz even tho she grew up shes very pasive now and rarely ever kicks hairs at me unlike the others,mr.death hairs cuz he throws TONS of hairs at me non stop lol, and my beginer girl was....rose petel lol 🌺🌸🌺
7:20 Aw man, kicking hairs
When I rehouse my tarantulas the small ones anyway I setup the new enclosures I take their decor stuff out of the container scoop out some of their dirt with a spoon then I gently put the container on the side inside their critter carriers and wait for them to walk into their new enclosures bc I have Brazilian salmon pink bird eaters 3 of them on I just upgraded to a new cage tonight and that's how I do it so I don't have to deal with kicking of hairs which I have to becareful of bc of my lupus I have very sensitive skin
T Chorus, 800 eyes on you, "You don't have to ask him - he'll tell you!"
Quick question i usually feed my goliath tarantula dubia roaches but is it possible to feed them large islander roachs a response would be appreciated because currently im out of roaches for my tarantula

Those butterfly lids are cute
Agreed.

@@october0000 what he even said it
@@suarez6613 yeah he did but it's not the truth
Baby powder can help with just use it before dealing with them
May I suggest a Hazmat suit 🤷♀️
I good question I have a Goliath pink toe if in emergency how do move he/she in to a shoe box or something temporary like if he/she is in pre-mold and it late at night or move into a temporary place
I heard itching powder has triangular hair in it.
I'm sorry I found it funny, but you and the Ts had me laughing so hard 😅 my neighbors called the cops!
11:40 Before you even get done saying it. XD
When will feeding vids be coming back
Hope you’re ok 😅
Ouch
Why are the enclosures so small???? I feel like there is noooo room in any of the enclosures. Why is this?
you know how nail salons have this machine that sucks in all the acrylic/other powder that comes off of the nails when they file them down? well i wonder if u put a little one next to the enclosures while u move the Ts...i wonder if it would suck in T hairs too?....also u could wear a mask... or long sleeeve shirt/pants... or u can wear something like a hazmat or bee keeping zip up suit so nothing can get at your skin? im sure a box of hazmat plastic suits cant be too expensive...idk just a few thoughts/suggestions
Do you have a Mexican red knee i wanna know if they are a good species
did you know? a good percentage of rabbits are in hats
❤
What happened with the snakes
Proper PPE will help with the hairs. 🤷
Just grab the spider bare handed and move it to the new enclosure and you wont get hairs kicked at you
..are you insane 😨
@@idk0776he's not
I loveeee tarantula
i like your vids also first
There’s a marker on your floor. Thought you’d wanna know. 😶

Did no one see the small lil bug crawling out of the one before the last ones container? Just rewatch it over at: 11:08
You really need to get a GoPro or a tripod so you can use both hands
How often do they molt?
in order to grow, they must go through several molts. Spiderlings can be expected to molt five or six times in their first year. They take around two to three years to reach maturity.
@@packsomatolMAKO u Keep tarantulas?
Don't do any feeding videos anymore? Or snake videos?
Duct tape will be your friend to remove those hairs... consider wearing a long sleeve shirt with pants and nitrile gloves... hydrocortisone cream will also help ALOT
7:34 - little man, "kicking hairs? I'm going to kick YOU - with all 8 of my legs if you don't check that brush."
Fast eagle 48
My Sturmi always kicks hair.
Wearing gloves helps with hairs
Why do you prefer females?
Females have a longer lifespan then the males
ree
I dont know maybe wear long sleeves and pants and shoes and a mask and gloves
wear mask maybe😃 ???
Wear long sleeves next time
T
You should get black hissing cockroaches.
why wont you ware some sort of the mask and gogles ?
Wear long sleeve shirt and long pants man, as well as a gas mask.
I like Theraphosa the least, just by their looks. I‘m not a tarantula keeper, I just like to watch videos and look at them. Theraphosa creep me out, I prefer the more colourful species like the GBB 😊
Interesting Grammar
The females are bigger so I wouldn't be concerned that the thick one is male 😊
Bro you already have an permanent itching within your heart to keep these create in Captive which is Wrong 🕷🕷🕸🕸👀👀👁❌❌❌

So much whining. Put on some long sleves and then go to work. Once done, go wash your hands in cold water so hairs dont get into the skin. Very simple and then we avoid all this wining for nothing next time. Jeeeezzz
