Great video! I bought land for my family in January, 4 plot in the PanAfrican village, 2 plots in Onhiaba and 4 in Agendym. I was assisted by Ato during my visit. He was so knowledgeable and represented me when dealing with the Chiefs and Royal Families. I am so glad you two are collaborating. Ato has been honest and transparent. You both have a easy, kind spirit. There are many taking advantage and charging exorbitant fees for land. I am following ,You are a skilled builder with attention to detail. I was excited to see my land on the drone footage. I am coming soon. Blessings and favor to you both!
It’s disgraceful and shameful for a African country like ghana to not allow the African diaspora to purchase freehold land , instead we are only allowed a silly 50 year lease , the polices Ghana practice is a foreign policy from Britain,. it’s about legacy and inheritance for our children and generations to reconnect back to what belong to our forefathers this silly lease and always talking about investing without targeting what needs changing first in Ghana would only creat a new mess for us like we are in the western world . the white man looks after his people with the help of Africans , E.T.C South Africa is a place white likes to purchase property and land , so the government made it freehold on land so that the land is there’s forever with no strings attached, all the rest of Africa is lease lol 😂, if Ghana wants real investment from us , they should allow us freehold purchase . I would never dishonour my ancestors by purchasing ancestral land on a 50 lease design by the same people who captured my people . just to say I’ve got land in africa you think I am that cheap to accept a 50 year lease ? when Jews invest in africa , Africans give the thousand year lease
Do you have an approved official layout of this site from the town and country planning? If not, please ensure you secure that first and demarcate the land parcels according to the official layout. This is of paramount importance and a free advise from a former government official (Land Surveyor). I would like to make some purchases but it is essential that these concerns are adequately addressed for future development example roads, schools, public areas etc in this area/neighborhood and the town as a whole. Watching the video clip, I believe the allodial title/ownership to this land may appear not in doubt.
Hi, i do not work with those responsible for the sales of land so I am not able. To tell if there's an approved layout or not. But i will find out about it. Thanks for asking
The land is green and beautiful. The place looks so peaceful and inviting. The land is very affordable; you can see that the sellers are not greedy for money, and they are also involved in the development of the community. This is what we need in the other community. I think most diasporas are ignorant concerning the custom and tradition of land in various parts of Ghana. Otto, said that without the consent of elders of royal families, the sale of land is illegitimate. And that the king alone cannot be the dispenser of land. Because the king is just a figure head or a witness, and not the owner of the land. And for any land documents to be considered valid, it must have the signature of all the parties involved. This is a lot to swallow. So why wasn't this information made available long time ago? I have a lot to say, but this may not be the appropriate place to say it...
The information shared in the video only applies to the location and may not entirely be the case elsewhere. There are a lot to know about land ownership in Ghana. I am currently working on getting an experienced surveyor who will be able to share a lot about land ownership and its processes on Ghana. I hope i am able to get that video done soon so everyone can learn from it.
Very informative. I live in Greater Accra and went thru some challenges with my land. My daughter and her husband are coming to Ghana to settle and do business. I will recommend this video for her to consider.❤
Hello My Brother I really like this video. I bought 2 plots with Ato's help there in Agyendam, on a hill top. I was looking at the video to see if I could recognize my land. But I could not. I will be coming to Ghana in October to start building. Thank you again for the video. I would like to have a drone shot of my land how much do you charge?
Greetings my brother and thanks for the information you are sharing. You are adding so much clarity to the process of acquiring land in Ghana. My question to you is, after land purchase, is the purchaser obligated to build within a certain period of time?
Regard building on the land, it will depend on the agreement made between the buyer and the seller in the indenture. Some estate companies states a period in which building would have to begin and what happens when that part of the agreement is breached.
