@narusaku_forever1219 he's still pretty prideful in GT too. In Super he seems to have sort of lost his pride as a Saiyan to a degree, considering he doesn't act like he did during the Cell or Buu arcs at all. But in GT some of the Buu Arc Vegeta can be seen with his pride, just redirected.

Honestly that makes the idea of Baby even more terrifying. It’s like a reverse of when Buu absorbed people. Instead of them being unconscious, baby somewhat forces your body to be awake but he’s at the wheel(kind of like the movie Get Out) Mind/body control is something Toriyama sort of dived into every now and then in some characters and their abilities but GT made this much more horrifying on a global scale with Baby’s agenda

Those latest movies along with Super have greatly expanded the Manga's world by taking place within its blank period, tying up all those events from the Majin Buu Saga to chapter 518 of the original work. But here, the point and goal where GT headed towards was to properly wrap up the anime series and give it a true sense of finality hence the TV special (Hero's legacy) and ending we got (Episode 64). By that point it is done and All those fanworks you mentioned are great tributes that are extremely satisifying to enjoy as a fan but that's as far as it gets.
This was Canon Vegeta, following Kid Buu's defeat. Vegeta had a moment during that battle where he acknowledged Goku always being ahead of him, grew up and fully accepted that as fact. In canon, until Super, he became chill from that moment onward.

As much as GT gets shit on, I think that GT Vegeta is one of my favorite depictions of his character, and wish it was how he would be in Super. A Saiyan who, like Goku, has learned to love and appreciate those around him, and the planet that fostered him. He sees his family as his loved ones, Earth as his home, and Goku as his rival, yes, but also his best friend. Someone he can trust.

Not really, GT is the continuation of dbz 10 years later. So vegeta accepted goku to be the strongest and he was fine with it. He had loving wife and two children. So he settled down.

for those who don't understand let me explain. the reason why Baby couldn't stay in Vegeta's body was because when Bulma use the Blutz Wave to powerup Baby vegeta it not only turn Vegeta into his Golden Great ape form it had also mutated Baby into his adult form. So Even if Baby manage to win he wouldn't be able to remain in Vegeta's body. so it was lose-lose for him
