    Never thought I'd see a cover of this classic Electric Flag song from 1968 played in 2024. I still have the original album A Long Time Comin with the incomparable Michael Bloomfield on guitar .

    Jam band psych, as done by roots and alt-rock players.
    Not too surprisingly, it doesn't sound much like the Dead - for one thing, they all agree on timing, rather than everybody trying to play further behind the beat than everybody else.
    And Michael Jerome is a kick-ass drummer; don't know his background but it wouldn't surprise me if he started out in jazz.

      "roots and alt-rock players".... And a longtime veteran of the post-Garcia GD scene....2nd guitarist is Mark Karan who played for many years in Bob Weir's Ratdog band.........
