just Flew Mine Today, waiting to publish video, one small thing I would like to say is, if you time the flaps to 2.0sec and mix down elev. the flaps wont be so dramatic, make it scale! I fly Venum 6S 5000 on this plane and the Flex 170
Hey thank you! I have come a long way since this video and if you watch closely I made the mistake of turning my flaps off at a very low air speed which caused the model to tip stall aggressively, Thank you for watching!
Great video guys. This is the best foam plane ever. I just tested mine today in a quarry and the sound was just awesome. Oh yeah... Thanks for posting and greetings from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Robert Petrinčič thats awesome it truly is a great airplane. We will be posting another video of the cessna on a 6s battery. Thanks for watching and greetings from Washington.
I wouldn't have dreamed of flying mine on 4s, 6s is where it's at, PS just a little helpful hint, use that rudder when executing turns and you won't be dragging your tail around and losing so much altitude when turning. Happy landings!
Just maidened mine yesterday with a 6s 4000mah pack. Very impressive plane. Did you have to do any trimming? I used to own a full scale 150. This model flies like its full scale counter part with 2000 hp lol. You can see my maiden on Meflyer.
This is an Amazing aircraft. You need to work on your turns and the takeoff and landing, you need to add more throttle on your downwind turns and takeoffs and landings, the plane was on the very edge of a tip stall for a lot of turns.
Servo issues. I’ve bought and assembled this model plane but haven’t flown it yet. Just a question to all the owners of this model, do you get buzzing/hum from most of the servos when the plane is switched on and stationery? Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Great video - I just bought the Cessna, and there is instructions for the ESC included. But nothing on how to change the cell count. So how do I reprogramme the ESC to 5 cells? Suggestions would really be appreciated
You were on the edge of a big stall there on take off....when there are good wings present there really is no need to incorporate the flaps just sets you up for a bad stall
Make sure you are putting in some down elevator when your flaps come in. I cringed both times you came in for a landing you were stalling the plane and controlling a crash to the ground. You stalled it on takeoff too, other than that enjoyed your video. Be safe, have fun and remember to push the nose down!
Chero Kiwi Hey thier we put a link to the esc instructions in the description and if thats deosnt help if youd like we could post a short video on how to do it. Thanks for watching
Looks grossly under powered & a lil tail heavy on 4s. I was hoping for a 182, but will probably end up getting one anyway! I'll just share my CZ Cub 6s batteries.
czcubflyer rl ......I have the TW-747-III Cessna 182, and I love it. The cabin has clear windows for a foam 40 size aircraft. I bought the Carbon Z Cub when it came out, and went thru two motors before putting a RimFire 120 in it and can almost hang it by the prop. Everyone wanted a Cessna when they made the Z Cub, and they played the sell them the Cub first, then make the Cessna.
czcubflyer rl .......Lanyu, or Volenex makes it, and it's 1.6m wingspan. I got mine off the eBay seller years ago and did the Spectrum upgrade and larger brushless motor. Here is a link.......www.hobbystation.co.nz/volantex-tw-747-3-1-6m-cessna/
Why anyone would use a 4s battery in this plane for a demo or review flight is beyond me when it is clearly designed for 6s. With a 4s it flies like a piece of tail heavy crap. I'm sure Eflite and Horizon would never show this video as a review or demo. You didn't have ONE 6s battery anywhere ?? amateurs smh
"That was 3d type flying there"
Nooo that was 'novice and nearly crashing flying' right there
Lol right. 🤣😂
Hey great job guys the audio was perfect and the flight was awesome . Better than alot of videos ive seen to date.
Mark Herrick hey thanks
Nice stuff

You did a good job for sure to get out of that @ 9 mins 30 secs congrats ...nice plane

I saw this at the Toledo expo and she looks like a gem. Congrats on this great bird.

This is so cool !!
The best hand made rc ever 👍 love it

can't wait to maiden mine
Awesome plane and brilliant flying:)
Nice video and recovery! I would appreciate a video on the 4 cell ESC set up :-)
No problem will get to work on that video for you guys : ) Thanks for watching

We didn't need any trim what so ever. it's a vary well put together plane.
I am 24 flights in on mine, and never did need any trim. I might need to buy another one to put on floats.
2000 HP??? Must have been one hell of a ride!
The Plane is great, and uless you own it or have a question, might as well not even comment!

Ole Steen Hansen Did anyone ever put out how to change the cell count on the ESC?

Please add a video for programming 4s battery to esu.

OK waiting on 4s info

Wow.... Does this thing come with a working rudder? Awful flying.
Looks grossly under powered & a lil tail heavy on 4s. I was hoping for a 182, but will probably end up getting one anyway! I'll just share my CZ Cub 6s batteries.
czcubflyer rl I share my 6S 5000 Venum that I use in My Flex 170 as well, had two batts, with this plane, I ordered 4 more

Cool Keith! My CZ Cub prop hangs on the stock setup!(I'm not good at hoverin yet tho.) Who sells the Cessna you mentioned?

Nice! Bananahobby sells a 73 incher that's a really nice lookin plane.www.bananahobby.com/5-ch-blitzrcworks-red-giant-sky-trainer-w-flaps-rc-trainer-airplane-arf.html

I use both 4s and 6s on my Cessana. Depends on my mode and the weather. Such an expert and a jerk.
Looks super tail heavy ?
Yeah we only had a 4 cell pack in there, it's much better with a 6 cell.
Nice plane but looks ass heavy the entire time .
That plane is tell heavy and you're being way too harsh on the climb out
Extremely shaky flight. Perhaps more practice on the Simulator?
Your plane was too tail heavy in that video.
6s
Dude, you really have to learn how to fly. Every not so forgiving airplane would have crashed at least three times.
Why would you ever review this plane with such a wimpy battery?
Rudder. Rudder.
ugly takeoff.
