I find your videos so comforting. I dont have any friends, and I spend all of my time outside of work in my room doing school work and reading. I listen to your videos to keep me company. I'm very thankful for your content.
I really appreciate that Kelsey. Glad to keep you company. I listen to stories throughout my day too
I have agoraphobia and social anxiety and I’m exactly the same he’s so comforting to listen to it’s almost like he’s here with me
To both of you :
True, his voice(s) are - even the "evil" ones - so calming, in some way, Idk how he does it... but I am also thankul he keeps doing it.
Btw, I hope whatever you struggle with gets better -
or better said: I hope you'll find a way to deal with it in a way that doesn't limit you, to the point it almost doesn't bother you.
(Let's just say I know some struggles myself, but of course I don't know yours. )
So... a hopefully better new year for you and a 👋 from the tiny state in Europe.
You are Not alone, there are many more of us out here that are lonesome but Kind.
You hang on in there!!!!
@@LighthouseHorror Hey mister Lighthouse, it's me Blake. Was wondering if you could maybe do a new wendigo horror story I know youre not suppose to speak the name lol . Those are my absolute favorite, camping in the woods, hiking with friends. Solo walking in the mountains. lost in a abandoned mine shaft kinda stories. Thanks again for this awesome narration to
As a widow… I don’t know why I found this so comforting. I feel like grief was a life sucking monster, and I feel so much better now that I have accepted that death is a part of life, and finally became “Emily” again.
I am sorry for your loss and I am glad you found something comforting in the form of a spooky story
I never felt right bcuz iwas listening to that saying that time heals all wounds. So im like why canti healwhy can others what's wrong with me? Than i realized that I wouldn't ever be able to get back to say xmas being as good without my mom n dad. And that i wouldn't want to pretend itwas. You learn to live with itand move on, and forever be truly blessed for having that person in your life for any amount of time that they were with you... and now I don't feel like a freak. And i feel like these thoughts might help some others too... bless you🙏🏻
Your strength and resilience is beautiful. I wish you well, internet stranger.
As another widow, it took me 4 days to click this.
@@kitkakitteh I skipped over it a few times too. I hope that’s you’re doing okay. ❤️

There is someone like that! His name is Jesus, and he's standing at the door, knocking. He died so that you might live, and came back to life so that you can live abundantly and have a future in heaven.... seriously.

Truly amazing! I lost my partner of 9yrs suddenly from coronary artery disease and died on valentines day 2016 his name was Robert and grief has taken a terrible toll on me. I still feel that i wish it was me but somehow im fighting on as i know he would want me to. Thank you for your amazing talent i look forward to you uploads, they make my little world seem so much brighter.
He was only 35years old
@@Mavvery thank you! This means alot 🥰
I also understand the pain and grief of losing a partner. I met Jonathan a few weeks prior to my 19th birthday in 2005. We were together 3 years, up until his tragic and unexpected death in March 2018. He was 33 years old.
I’m sorry to hear that, death sucks. I lost my fiancée to cancer in may 2015, she was only 33. 🫤
Looking in the comments it's good to see that I'm not the only person who uses this channel as their safe space. People generally think I'm weird because I find these stories comforting but it seems im not anywhere near alone in that. I struggle with depression and anxiety and a life which is pretty tough at times but you get me through every day, thank you.
You are not alone, I struggle as well. Sending you lots of 💜💜💜.
Coren my life hasn't been easy & if anythings going to happen or go wrong it happens to me. For me this channel seems to remove me at night from my thoughts & allows my mind to calm down for awhile. God Bless - Much Love ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
It's as though you spoke of my own feelings, taking the words right out of my head. I truly understand, Coren.
You are not alone, this community is great Xxx
I love these stories, so calming. I go to sleep to Stevens voice often
Greta: Hush, do not say his name!
Also Greta: Says his name a dozen times in under a minute.
Someone else noticed, finally.
It kinda frustrated me
To be fair, these stories are told through the perspective of forum posts. Nothing specifically say that they actually kept saying the name out loud. Only that that's how they recalled it afterwards.
@@quartzninja I'm not so inclined to write it off so easily. It's still an account, and it's specifically saying that Greta said this.

YES, I was hoping for another story today. I love your voice, it's so calming and easy to listen to no matter what youre narrating.
This coming from a person that so many tones, voices, and sounds irritate me. But I can listen to your narrations all the time. Best story teller ever!!
I can't judge her. I love my husband more than life. If he dies before me I'd be so lost

This story was so good. It was so good that I can't imagine any other voice actor performing this story than Lighthouses Horror.
Dark Somnium and Magnetar would also do this one very well too.

Oh, the author did a fantastic story and your LH skill at narration was perfection. Thank you all, now have spectacular day.
Wow this one was really sad. I don’t know what it’s like to lose your partner to death but I can well imagine how painful it would be. Great story. You are amazing at this Stephen ♥️♥️♥️♥️😎✌️
Holy sh1t I cried like a baby towards the last 3 minutes I mean those lines...juxtaposing "beautiful" & "terrifying" to describe what she was witnessing is perfect. Thank you for this story.
That was one of the most Incrediibly awesome stories I have ever heard from stephen thank you lighthouse horror very much.
Wow! That was a beautifully narrated tale. From your voice I could almost feel their pain.. that was a great one! Keep up the great work, you deserve far more subscribers man!!
Bro you are churning these stories out faster than I can listen to them!! I absolutely love it.
You are hands down the best narrator on YT at the moment with my man Dark Somnium coming in at a very close second.
I appreciate all the work you out in to your craft man. As well as all the authors who agree to have their work read by such a fine mate as yourself.
The community loves you mate keep up the awesome work!!
So true, and darkness prevails is no further.
What a beautifully sad story. Well done on both the story selection and your telling of it. I felt so many emotions while you spoke. As always. Thank you for what you do.
Your voice is so soothing but at the same time you keep my attention. I really like the way you narrate stories. Thank you!
STEPHEN, you are a TITAN among titans of narrators! My friend thank you for such a SPLENDID VIDEO!

That was a very well written story. I also enjoyed the narration.
Awe, a horror of love ❤️ the line truly will stick w/me...."even after death parts us!" Unconventional line for a unqiue situation! Huge applause 👏 for the author and, as always, great narration as a man, woman, elder woman (i visioned the old lady from poltergeist was it Catrina her name?, and an entity!
I thought there was a possibility for a positive ending, then I remembered where I was.

Absolutely awesome. Thanks Mr Lighthouse for another new upload. You always do good work
Bravo, another triumph. A bittersweet ending with an unanswered question at the end. I loved it.
This was a good story! It was way more sentimental than I assumed it’d be, I thought the bookstore woman was going to turnout being in on making Emily aware of the ritual in the first place. Subverted my expectations for sure.
Always a good day when the king uploads! Thank you for the new narration and all the work you do to make every story unique and special! Cheers!
You have been the only voice I have heard who has not been paid in some way to interact with me or has not simply discussed business of some sort with me in a very long time. I wandered for so long in the darkness until I heard your voice and you have truly been a lighthouse for me and for so many others. Thank you.

Fantastic!! Thank you, Stephen!!
Wow i can't find the words to say this story was simply amazing it left me glued to my phone like no other story I've heard you tell before absolutely great narrating and great story! Thank you!
Imagine, listening to this on ur tv, and your family/friends can hear it. And they hear "demonic exchange" and "saving/selling souls" and all that. Then as the story builds and they pass by ur room again to hear-
"It's thee ONLY way, to save her from debt"
"What in thee holy hell kinda dumb sh*t you listening to??" 😂😂
You and darkness prevails are my favorite narrators and your stories are getting better

aww thank you Ginger. I had a rough couple years there and wasn't sure things were gonna work out. Your comment just made my day
I’m pretty sure this is one of those “ignorance is bliss” situations. You *really* don’t wanna know what Emily did, do you?
I mean, I’d find a way too, come Hell or high water; but you don’t wanna know *how*, just that you came back…

This is a fantastic story! I was hooked from the beginning. So many emotions and loved the occult aspect. Amazing narration as always ❤❤
I could see this as a movie. Brendan Fraser as the guy, Kate Winslet as the wife, Chloe Grace Moretz as their daughter (easily written in), Helen Mirren as the bookstore lady, Gary Oldman as the voice of Dept. Srsly, someone get this to Hollywood!!!!

Yaaaaay❤ my boy lighthouse! As a 6th generation healer I can tell you that souls that don’t belong in the ethereal can be brought back if the hair at the frontal lobe is yanked hard and certain herbs are burned. I’ve seen it. I have seen so much in my family. The hardest part is being petitioned by the left hand side of the spectrum to join up. In my family we have a rule, do not join covens. We’re simply healers. Gifted with talent from our eldest grandmother who was enslaved. She had 11 children with the slave master and plantation Henderson Judd. She had a dream she would be killed and the next day the kkk why just lost the civil war came to Judd plantation and burned buildings. They kidnapped my grandma and my grandfather the plantation owner. Beat them and released them in the snow naked. My grandmother died and Henderson made it home. He pressed charges but nobody was arrested because they hurt slaves. So he went to the Supreme Court to testify and put it on record. A day after the kkk returned a castrated him. One girl who was beaten by the kkk was brought back to life. If ores not your time and you have the right people around and the soul doesn’t enter the spirit world they can get back.
I really enjoyed the story 🥰 isn’t it so human to be consumed with grief and resort to “inhuman” measures to try to stop hurting. So glad for the redemption at the end 🥲 thanks!
This was a brilliant story. Kudos to the author for this spooky, yet rollercoaster tale
