Guys there is no way a chevelle fan would not like this album it's going to be amazing I'm so happy a new album I've been a fan since 2003 when I first saw you guys at HOB in myrtle beach SC I was on crutches at the time from breaking my femur in 3 places now I'm 32 and still love chevelle as much as I love TOOL keep up the good work every chevelle album has been totally amazing so yes fans are going to dig this new album

@Ivory_ Lagiacrus_YT This is true, but there are definitely moments where I can hear Tool's influence on the band. For example, the way Pete is singing in the chorus sounds very much like Maynard to me. Some of the riffs also sound very Adam Jones-y.
Obviously it's not a direct rip-off. Pete is still his own very talented musician, with his own voice, after all. But the similarities are definitely there.

I started my rock love by listening to Rush, then some thrash: Megadeth, DRI, Antrax, etc. Then with heavy metal: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, etc. Continuing with Nu metal: Slipknot, 7Dust, Korn, Static X, Drowning Pool, Linkin Park, etc., and now ive started with Chevelle.... what a wonderful world, aint it? They've improved with their sounds tremendously. I've also noticed the lead singer plays guitar from self destructor. I never knew that!
Pete's always played all the guitar parts, you should see him work live, it's quite the sight
