Enjoyed your video. London, rain, RFs - so many memories.Such 'pretty' buses those RFs. Still look so fit for purpose. Very authentic Leyland National with the wipers 'clacking away' on the windscreen pillar and no centre number blind in the rear didplay - just as many were. Hope you didn't get too wet tbough.
Blast from the past Peter! I remember the RT buses on route 102 at Chingford in the 1970s, and the RF buses that ran on the 121 in Chingford around that time. The engine sound on the RFs sounded like the RTs. Happy days
Hi, Great day, for seeing all the classic, model buses. I didn't get to ride the 13, as there was none? Anyone else experienced that? They must of sent them back to the local depot. Shame that.

Thanks, unfortunately I got soaked through as I did not take an umbrella with me!
Those wipers weren't half loud inside at the front, had to listen to that all day yesterday as the conductor...
@@kevinasarlauskas3261 At least it kept you awake! Lol.

Before my time, though I'm not from London originally, but definitely happy days in much happier times

Nice video Peter, shame i didn't get to see you.
Thanks
Heritage buses love it
Apart from the rain, you missed a good day
The opening scenes are up towards Hampstead
Yes, as per the subtitle at 14 seconds these were filmed outside Jack Straws Castle.
Nice video. The wipers on that National @2.30 were noisy.
Thanks, just how I remember them being on some Nashers
Lovely buses
Yes, they are indeed
Nice catch! I wonder can anyone ride these heritage buses like a normal tfl bus or do you have to be part of the event?
Anyone can ride them, free of charge
Good turnout of buses.
It would have been better if it had not been raining.
Thanks, rain is good for photos and video, but I got soaked through as I wasn't prepared for it
Great footage!! Shame I missed it! Did you ride on any of the buses?
I rode on M394, and a video of that ride will be released later in the week
@@BristolRE I have been on M394 several times. Nice vehicle that is! Can’t wait to see your video out!!!

Hi do you know a web where I can actually find the dates for when these heritage buses run?
This is a good starting point, plus being on some Facebook bus enthusiast groups related to your area

@@BristolRE Thank you so much
