He came to orioles at a very low point was there to see the good years from 2012 to 2016 and helped bring orioles back to life. Class act

As a Jays fan I respect Jones. Great player and person, sad to see him leave the O’s

I remember being a little kid, living in a shithole in D.C. I remember going to Orioles games on the weekends, the tickets were cheap cause they sucked, and I remember seeing Jones, Mora, Markakis and all the great Orioles out there. As a little kid I loved the Orioles and the Rockies to death. Although I am a die hard Brewers fan today, I will always love the O's and Adam Jones.

@Cody Akins not really... everyone arould the beltway either cheered for the nats or O's but still had mad respect for both teams..... just like the ravens and skins, mutual respect

We lost 2 great Men of BALTIMORE that actually loved BALTIMORE and contributed this year machado, Jones to pay shit..... I hope a winner signs him. He brought pride back to that storied ballcap. I’m not even talking about the fact that he ACTUALLY went into and cared for the community like no one since ray Lewis. Seeing him in another cap is gonna make me sad but seeing him win a ring will make a lot of kids who will always see him as a role model smile. Great man. Great player. Great citizen of Baltimore.

This man is the reason I became an orioles fan at the young age of 9 and I’ve been a diehard one ever since. I really hope some day I get to meet AJ and talk with him for a couple minutes. He’s my hero man. I live in Buffalo and for Father’s Day weekend me and my son are going to Camden for each of our first time. Im 26 my sons 5!!!

If you read this Adam Jones, know that we still and always will remember you. You are baseball royalty as far as we Baltimore faithful are concerned. Thanks for all the memories!!

Dude is a true Oriole. He embodies what it means to play, and just as important, live the Oriole way. Dude is a Baltimore King.

    A. Jones is truly a throwback. An athlete who embraces his role as a role model. He would have easily fit into an early ‘70’s Orioles roster!!!

Now think how sad it was for me. I am a mariners fan. The fact that he rode pine for us and never really played then we trade him to the orioles and he is a perennial all star.

AJ has been as important to the Orioles the past 11 years as Cal was to baseball in 1995. If the Orioles are smart, they will resign this Baltimore icon to help develop younger players. His attitude as a leader shows in his hustle, his desire to win & his sportsmanship. Come on Peter, resign AJ!
