I saw this shower before in the short, I stand by what I said then as well, once people see this I'm sure you'll see more people using this idea and having their own little touches on it. The shower is genius.
I love that design. Great job you two! I'm going to buy a shuttle or short bus to build out soon. I've debated whether to build in a "bathroom" of some sort, but don't want the obstructed view. With this design I could put it flush on one of the side walls. Thank you for sharing.
Love the transformable space. Mold shouldn't be a problem here in Buffalo or out west. I live in a Short Skoolie and want to say to you two and anyone else using a composting toilet, ***20 MULE BORAX in the pee bottle*** 1/8 cup per 5 gals will not just cut down odor, it eliminates it.

Like it, though I would probably put in a hanger of some sort for that occasional hand free option for the shower head. Maybe something like a flexi microphone thingy that also swings into the space.
Nope! Theres nowhere for it to leak! The sliding wall meets the lower half wall which is glued to the side of our composite box. There's nowhere for the water to go but back down into the shower pan.
@@OurWayToRoamI think at 1:35 one can see this. There is a metal lid at toilet seat height, against both the moveable wall abuts. It doesn’t though look like there is another (vertical) lid on the wall of the box, which would prevent water seeping through here. In case it is not clear to any reader what I mean, think of what would happen if you taped a piece of paper to inside of your box (maybe at hip height or higher) where the moveable wall meets that the wall of the box. To me it looks like, part of that sheet of paper could get wet.
I never saw how you could take the toilet out without moving the shower wall before, so that's cool. If you have a guest sleeping over, then I guess you can probably just remove the toilet and stick it by the door, so you all can use the toilet while they have the bed out. I was just thinking you could make a little light privacy, hang up curtain, around the toilet that is near the door, for those occasions.
The shower design is awesome! Just curious, where do you put shampoo/conditioner and soap while you shower? I was thinking maybe upside down bottles with hook or loop bottoms, so you could hang on the towel racks? Or a net bag to hold Earthling shampoo/conditioner bars & soap bars?
We currently just set them on the floor! But adding a little soap/shampoo holder will likely be our next mod for the shower! Love the upside down bottle idea!

Just wondering if you have to add any material to the composting toilet after using.
I’d be reluctant to put a damp curtain into that small space. I’d still worry about mold.
