Just downloaded it and started using it. Love the domino count - makes it easier to switch up colours slightly to ensure I have enough dominoes of any given colour to complete a project. I suspect I will be using this a lot - in one way or another.

I have been using your planner a lot of times (also for DDT projects!). Im most curious about the picture to pixel mechanic as that is the one thing I find the most challenging. I use complex photo's or even paintings or moviescenes to create characters or just a background but in the previous version it failed regularly converting the image into the selected colors.
I also just have downloaded your new version but it doesnt open into my Excel (makes it a table with /codes en stuff). Which file am I supposed to open?
In the old version it would just use the pixel color at the center of each cell and use the distance formula to find the closest RGB values of a domino color that you had active. Low quality images might have some weird pixel colors found in certain spots. Also grey RGB values are not very far from desaturated colors, so in the old version you might get a lot more grey than you expected.
The new algorithm checks 5 points in each cell (center and rule of thirds) and matches them to your closest active color. If there is a mode, that is the result. If there is no mode it'll use the center. The color matching is still done with RGB distance formula for all pixels with >10% saturation. For

Wow that is a huge improvement! I am just using graph paper and colored pencils to plan my fields right now. I think 9.99 is a good price considering how much time and effort you put into this. I will definitely purchase it soon! Can it plan horizontal fields/ horizontal crossfields? Thank you Steve!
You mean vertical fields right? You'd just have to rotate the image 90 degrees before bringing it into the program.
And yes you can do crossover fields

Thanks for the tutorial! But the problem that I am facing is I am keep having lack of dominoes colours, which it is a very big issue, and I don't have most of the domino colours.
Should we pay for it?
When I go into the wall planner(doing every thing the video says) it comes out with a small section done and the rest just blank. Any problem solving ideas for that?
Did you have the entire image visible in the sheet the whole time it was generating?
