Thanks Darren, I've tried everything and it's not great - Counterweights might be an option, but overall it's too heavy for the DJI OM6, any of the slightly bigger gimbals will handle it no bother

Hey Vic, first time viewer and I noticed, the bottom of the grip that comes from freewell looks like a mount for some gimbals, that could possibly fix your gimbal issue and allow you to still use what freewell sent. also enjoyed the video! I want to get into shooting cinematic on my phone lol

I’m wanting to get the Sherpa setup but I’m worried it’ll be too heavy for my DJI Osmo 6 Mobil Gimble.

If you have the regular iPhone 14 pro, it actually works in combination with a microphone like Dji mic or saramonic smart mic (I have both). They work as a counterweight to balance the heavy camera setup.

Could you check if the Osmo can balance the 14 Pro Max with just the magnetic filters? If so I think I’ll order one.

Don’t have a max but I reckon it probably is a bit too heavy with the filters.

My Dji OM 4 SE with counterweight installed on works fine with iPhone 14 Pro even with the anamorphic lens.

Would you recommend the ND filter or the Polarized one for shooting a lot of vehicle shots in bright light?

Nd filter will rescue the amount of light. The polarizer will only help with reflections

Haida PROII CPL-VND 3-7 Stops with StepUp ring (52-82mm threaded). And in my experience with mobile anamorphs, Moondog Labs 1.33x gives the best picture.

I use a mic as counterweight with the regular sized iPhone 14 pro. Works with both Dji mic and saramonic smart mic mini.
