- Bethesda and Arkane Studios latest game, Deathloop, can be a lot to take in at first when learning the ways of the Loop. Here are 9 Essential Starting Tips that will help you get your bearings on Blackreef when going to kill the Visionaries. IGN has plenty of Deathloop gameplay of Deathloop PC and Deathloop PS5. You can also find every Deathloop trailer, our Deathloop review, and thoughts on Deathloop multiplayer. Arkane Studios (part of Bethesda) has released Deathloop official gameplay as well, but after the Deathloop release date that'll just be a bunch of Deathloop deja vu.
I love the dialog in this game. Colt is hilarious.

Started it today - I'm an hour or so in and feel this.
TIP!! take a turret with you whenever you can, get into a fight? throw kil and recover.
this will keep some suppression fire on enemies AND even better you always got a battery on you when you need it

Just picked this up and I’m actually having a lot of fun. When it was first released I was really hesitant and thought it sounded pretty dumb. Never judge a book by its cover.
I thought it would be boring after so many loops. I was wrong. There are so many ways to go about a play. And it changes trinkets. I did see how it connected to the earlier games. The void is not exactly a place makes so much sense now. haha
This game kinda reminds me of the original bioshock for some reason

You can find charged batteries inside turrets. Just deploy them and look at the base of the turret from the back. Helpful for puzzles without a ton of searching.
Also you can earn an extra 2000 residuum at the start of every loop. infuse your starting player trinket (the purple double jump one) as soon as possible. When you do so, you’ll actually re earn it when you begin a new loop. Scrap the NON INFUSED copy safely and earn free residuum before you even venture out.
you don't need to infuse the starting trinket. you just get it automatically after you complete the longest day and every day after that.
I think the point of infusing is that you keep the infused one and end up with 2 at the start of each loop so you can scrap one 👍
I do this for weapon and character trinkets too if I have duplicates. Infuse one and keep dumping all the new ones. The only exception is the guns, you have to use a new one for each gun, but after that, toss and get paid.
I'm here because I have absolutely no idea what this game is asking me to do.... The slightest sounds and visuals blow my cover and everything is a gun fight. Not sure if I like this yet. Came here to make sense of what I'm playing.
The mines in this game were so incredibly annoying. I couldn’t stand going anywhere in an area with them until I got the trinket to hack them. At least they did their job well…
I'm hacking the mines with silenced SMG. Way faster and with higher range. It's notworth spending a trinket slot on that.
This was helpful ty. I’m having trouble with staying Alive. I’ve been playing for a week or soo, and still looking for Colts flat.

It does, the gameplay is a bit more refined than dishonored imo. A lot smoother.

i think this is where alot of criticism of this game comes from. non gamers who arent good at games. I was skeptical at first because of hearing vague rumblings of the game being bad but its objectively an amazing and creative game. I find it depends on loop stress entirely and if its high you gotta be more careful. It can be difficult if you want the game to play itself for you. Funny enough there are dozens of difficulty accessibility options. even godmode i think.

Just got to the end. Terrific finish. Well worth persisting through the very difficult start.

idk, not having any issues running it on an r5 2600X and an rx 5700 8gb. locks to a smooth 60fps with no dips on a mixture of high and very high.

They need to optimize this game on PC, no idea how it was released in such a terrible state.
Funny how the whole world complained when Cyberpunk ran badly on consoles but great on PC, but all of these terrible PC ports fly under the radar of mainstream outlets, PC players are SICK of it.
@Chocolate Leiderhosen the performance was good on PC and I had no more bugs than in a Bethesda game (probably less tbh) besides what I’m saying is everyone starts crying when PC has the better version of the game but no one talks about the constant terrible ports we get.

I run Deathloop in ultra, raytracing quality, 60 fps on 1080p with only a 2060 super and an intel i5 10400f.

Screw that last tip. I've had a ton of piss babies rage quit when I was killing them as Jilliana. It's beyond annoying.

Yeah, the compressed UA-cam video on your phone really paints the picture of how the game actually looks.
It looks like an ok game, but why do the graphics and textures look like from 2013?
UA-cam downscaling and the graphics are stylized to a certain degree. I think the textures and lighting in game are really amazing, with character models (outside of the two MCs) being the only thing to leave me wanting more. I also think the setting of the world isn’t all that vibrant or exciting, specifically outdoors, but I do think it looks very nice.
