Brings me back to the days when we was having fun without knowing we were making nostalgic memories.. Farewell to our past.. farewell to our fun times.
Hey love my old games from , basically better social and economic times , my favorite RE-games are "RE-2" 1990s ver, "RE-DarksideChronicles" , and ""GameCube RE-1"" , , ,but if you're feeling kinda down go out somewhere and do something fun with friends or coworkers , ,maybe even bowling 🎳 👍👍👽
will never forget getting this game and being like 9 years old and callling my friend while playing this in the dark and getting him to instruct me on where to go because he had the guide book. miss that house and that time.
Is it just me or even if it's your first time playing the OG games you still get a nostalgic feeling something about re music is so beautifully crafted good job by the way.
Great song choices to slow down. Leon and Claire's theme and Ada's theme always stuck out to me when I was young. So melancholic but there is still a sense of hope in them. Awesome vid, will be playing this a lot
I didn't play the original games but I did watch my older siblings play the game while I sat and played with my Legos and this music was playing in the background
Still remembered myself at kid age, playing RE2. When I reached S.T.A.R.T.S. office, I just thought "why not stay here forever, it is so safe here" :))
brings me back to the past when It was the first time I seen this game, the game gave me nightmares for a couple of weeks, got really scared even going out at night haha. after couple of years I decided to play it again and that's it, I fell in love in the game. This music is a relaxing haunting melody =)
I miss these days. I don't need a remake. I would appreciate at most a remaster, with bonus content and unfinished stuff finished as options. Improved graphics maybe but still the same style. Or an MMO of this game made for us all to join together in.
This resident evil series marked my childhood. I really miss the first games. All in English, dictionary on the side, magnificent soundtrack, few special effects. The imagination traveled. Now with the remakes it has its sequel.
i was 7 when i played this game for the first time best gaming experience i have had ive beatin this game twice and it's my favorite resident evil game that has been made i love them all but this one and resident evil 4 are the 2 resident evil games i have the best memories with
never played any of the re games because i was too poor to buy it back then, but i did watch alot of playthrough of it on youtube few years ago and this really gives some nostalgic vibes from it
Dark Victorian scores are my fav! Re has no lack of it, the rain just keeps pouring…. You would think in these moments maybe the coolade man might bust through the wall and be like “oh yeah!” He doesn’t and instead it’s a blood curdling zombie looking for Jill to snack on. Alas, stars taught me a lesson and that was to still wonder what makes the dark beauty more grand than Jill getting eaten alive. It’s unfortunate but what makes us able to still find beauty in the dark. Is Jill scared of being eaten or would she rather dine on the blood illuminated by the twinkling star light that flows from the manor lords table? Is the night brighter than the day because the will to survive makes it shine inside the heart? Is Jill in danger of being killed by a zombie, or is she safe from death because she knows that even in the dark the stars still shine?
Say what you will about the outdated game engine, the dialogue, the models, etc., but for the ones who played this game back in the day, it was an awesome experience. Admittedly, I was a tad late to the RE party by a few years, (I was born in the year the first game came out) but after being introduced to the game franchise from a family member, I was hooked. The first RE title I owned was OG Resident Evil 2 for the Nintendo 64, and it quickly became one of my favorite games. For its era, it was worthy of being classified as a horror game, and it still should be, imo. From Leon and Claire's shouts of pain upon being attacked, their horrid screams upon dying, the music tracks that fueled the tension and horror, the moaning zombies trapped in a personal hell and the vicious enemies that put them to shame had you fearing the next area that you had no choice but to visit. It was considered terrifying by a lot of RE fans and non-fans alike, and for good reason. Like many others, I was hyped when I heard that Capcom was remaking Resident Evil 2. All I could think of was revisiting Raccoon City as my fictional childhood hero Leon, all while trying to escape from the terrors once again via a new engine and in a new era. Sadly, after my first playthrough, I was extremely disappointed with the cut-down enemy roster and missing locations. It wasn't a bad game, but it definitely could have been handled better, imo. At the end of the day, for the aforementioned RE fans and people who just simply played it for the horror aspect/setting, it's always nice to take a trip down memory lane and listen to the OST or even play the original. And finally, last but not least: Rest in peace, Paul Haddad. You helped bring Leon Scott Kennedy to life in a franchise that would become even more popular in the future. May you keep doing what you love wherever you are now.
1998, the first time I ever played RE2. Still to this day its my favorite in the franchise and probably the entire reason I became a fan of the series. I personally prefer RE1 rebirth (proper remake) to RE2 2019 Reboot (I consider it an alternate timeline and world aside from Canon RE2 1998 timeframe and a rushed game with the only 2 things that the team spent a majority of the budget was the graphics and the voice actors/models).
RIP Paul Haddad, the OG voice of Leon :") save room theme always reminds me of him...
1998 was the best year for video games. Constant bangers all year that year.
it was a great year !! i was 4 and I began to wonder ! god bless you bud
Ahhh, the year Spyro came out. Ol times, first video game, and it felt like we were brothers.
This game (RE2 Original) was awesome, a true gem. My brother & I played it together for months. It will always be something memorable.
Brings me back to the days when we was having fun without knowing we were making nostalgic memories..
Farewell to our past.. farewell to our fun times.

There are other, different fun times ahead though, mate. Don't lose your memories yet to come.

the slowed versions are so good, it's soothing, good job!

I wouldn't know since I've played all at release but it's nice to know thats the case :)
The music and the atmospheric depths of the first three games are absolutely timeless.

RE2 was the best of the series. RE4 definitely raised the bar but 2 will always be my favorite.
this is making me regret not buying the ost on vinyl when i had the chance lol
Scenery and sounds like this will always have my heart ❤

Thank you. This slashed open a crevasse in my heart. We are failing as humans.
Tylko zasypiać przy tej muzyce coś pięknego 😭
