In this video I use watercolor and a touch of gouache to paint a scene on a greeting card showing a woman in a long flowing dress standing in the shallow surf of the ocean. The sun is setting and the wind is blowing her dress and her hair. The sunset casts a golden and orange glow on the woman's face and through the fabric of her dress.

If I can help: My immediate question is what is that dark matter above the skirt? But then after seeing the reference photo, I as an artist and critique, would take the liberty to lighten that spot as a part of the skirt, to tie the painting together. The dark spot draws too much attention that can’t be resolved by the naked eye. God bless your fine work.
