regardless of a word having past/present negative connotation, - *only thee context & intent of a word are noteworthy.
I would argue that the speaker could be more justifiably offended, considering that a random person may have just derailed the speaker's statement /redirected the The audiences attention, & *perhaps* all just to satisfy an apparent victim-complex.

Yousef AH Of course man. You think you'll make another Lil Peep video in the future? His music is influenced heavily with emo rock vibes, usually mellow for the most part, but his voice is stunning.
His darker songs, like 'Come Around' & 'Witchblades' are more situated around his drug use & the more grunge side of him; Yet his more slow, calm but still emotionally distressing songs like 'Crybaby' & 'Star Shopping', they're seriously deep. There's so much more in his music, he was truly an amazing artist & always will be in my eyes.
Even if you don't make a video on it, they're worth checking out. I felt very connected with Peep after I heard a lot of his music which made his passing a lot tougher.
Anyway, if you do check out his other songs besides 'Save That Shit', I hope you enjoy it, or at least appreciate his lyricism where he essentially created his own type of music, touching on things that most rap artists don't with the style & flow that leans more towards emo rock on a rap beat. Enjoy 🤞🏽
