In kindergarten we had the same kind of fundraiser with the white candy bars and my teacher gave me a new box and went "these are yours. Dont give them to ANYONE else." So I didnt. I ate them myself. And when I got home covered in chocolate and on the verge of puking my mom realized she was raising a fucking dumbass. And to add insult to injury she had to pay for the fuckton of expensive candy I ate.

The wishbone one: Obviously if the user does this, obviously the Monkey's Paw rule will apply. They'll get their wish granted, but in the most horrifying/disappointing interpretation possible, so as to make them rue the day they tried to cheat the ritual of the wishbone. Similar to what Travis suggested, though maybe a little more indirect.
Substitute spouses with siblings, and like, this could totally be a made-for-TV kids movie/ Are You Afraid of the Dark?-Style TV show short story.
