Hi Ed, and thanks John. What a great story, a close 2nd to the Whittington Bro's story, also from John. Ed, would love to hear a few stories from Mrs Bolian one day, I have a feeling she may have a few interesting tales to tell.
I love all of these stories but this one just touched me differently. Definitely one of the best on the channel between the “can I have a cup of tea” and “god is Italian” I love all of Johns stories
John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the Ferrari. VinWiki music starts playing
Hey, I'm in some of those photos! I was the guy with the "Ferrari Historian" and was going to bid on that car. However, after looking at it, it was just too much work for me to get it in the shape I would have wanted. I was happy it went to you, good job!
I have seen trees fall in so many different ways. Naturally falling, someone cutting it, doesn't matter. There will always be one more tree that surprises you. This one, holy crap, amazed you both self rescued yourselves unharmed. I've seen the end results when something of similar mass but less of a drop hits a shed.
What an amazing story. I’m an arborist on the east coast. Maryland and I see trees crush houses cars you name it. I know the damage that a tree can do. It’s amazing that no one was hurt and the Ferrari was safe. Trees will do some wild things.
"Peters first reaction of course, being British, was to to ask for a cup of tea" As a Brit, I can confirm that that is how we all react to trauma. And if anyone shares bad news with you, you say "Oh no! Let me make you a cuppa"
Such a cool story! I love the classic Ferraris and I'm glad this one was saved. I also live in Northern California and I do remember those storms. They were the worst but at least after them we didn't have much of a drought going on afterwards.
Great story! U must do part 2 and show us video of you with this blessed Ferrari I now feel is part of everyone who shared the nail biting story of the God saved Ferrari!
The thing i love most about VINwiki, is that every single guest seems to be super passionate and humble. And through that, we get amazing stories that make us feel connected to something seemingly unattainable. Thank you ❤
This is an awesome story. I have for the longest time liked the F355, maybe the one for the mid to late 90s which is when I was a kid, but really dig the look of your 308.
I was lucky, growing up in a 328 GTS. And yet... I so much more preferred the Alfa B200 (which I can't find a damn thing about) and the Sierra 4X4i (which had ABS, a novelty back then, the first flat-out to full-stop demonstration being an amazing buzz for me as a schoolkid). I enjoyed how squirty the acceleration was in the Ferrari. It made the other stupid supercar in the carport seem heavy by comparison. A 928S, which pretty much sent me to sleep, the driving position pretty much being sun-lounger... Another wonderful video. How did I miss this treat of a channel!? Great work. Thanks so much, and safe journeys, love and regards from the UK 🍀
John Ficarra is the dud that brought me to VINwiki. He's a brilliant story teller, about the subject that I love (according to my mum, I was pointing @ every car that went by and making car noises, before I could even speak). Ed Bolian comes a close 2nd.
The acquisition was a decent story all on it's own, but the tree coming through the garage and leaving the car unscathed is quite extraordinary. Now I need a cup of tea...
When T-shirt branding and a person with limitless money, intimidates the bidding market. I can respect it. The closing of this story is hilarious.
I'm sorry but I can't think of any better closing line on a vinwiki story.
@@MianCowell I don't normally comment on UA-cam but I'm gonna stop you right there... This closing line was amazing but "Between the two of us, we've got them all -Rabbit" is the best yet imo.
