cria (baby alpaca) blends well with angora rabbit. But fiber is super labor intensive and the value added makes it almost hard to market because it's so expensive. I inherited my angora rabbits from a co-breeder with other rabbits and took the opportunity to learn. They were so much harder than normal furred rabbits.
I love watching Old Redding Farm videos. Love when John says “my wife drives the bus”. Reminds me of me & my husband. We love our alpacas. Hello from Alabama! Enjoyed this video! 💗
I very rarely watch long You Tube videos but y'all have my wife and I all in. You're videos draw me in and keeps me engaged the whole time I can't wait for the next video. Also love your closing comments, keep it coming 💯👏🍻
Hi Olivia, I’m in England at the moment though I’m farming back in Uganda - so divving my time between the two countries. I love the amount of detail in your questions and consequently the responses from which I’ve learnt a lot. Good job. Kassim (DreamHarvest farm Uganda)
Thank you so so much!!! We are really loving meeting some amazing people and sharing them with you! I’m so glad you are enjoying our tours! We have many more to come!! ❤️
Very interesting. I thought of them at one time because a friend raised them and they seemed relatively easy with high returns, but decided against it. He certainly seems like he has the diversity dialed in. Too bad there was not sufficient time for the chainsaw art and what they do. I was hoping he would say what he was going to do with the emu eggs - a one egg omelet perhaps... Great interview. Well done!
They are certainly cute and unique. I loved learning more about them! I think we talked about the eggs but it was next to the chicken coops and it was very loud 😅 glad you enjoyed the tour!! Thank you!!
Thank you for showcasing Old Redding Farm. John & Catherine are great people and you did a wonderful job😄👍
Yes! Loved meeting Jon and learning about their small farm!
