As a male hairdresser I’m mortified by the way you man handled your hair.
While this video was helpful, you may want to consider shooting these tutorials differently. 90 % of the footage was of your face when most of the work you were doing with your hair was on the back of your head, so the viewer couldn't really see what you were doing. It would have made sense to either stick to the rear camera for longer periods, or do a split screen / picture in picture approach where you can see both views at once while you're describing and demonstrating.
I had like 8 of these bobby pins in my hair and my girlfriend was laughing at me, but now I'm an expert! Thanks, longhairs!
Man 2 enough for me lmao I just need the sides since I kinda like the rough look lol
Finally a long hair.... With wavy hair.... Now i can relate.
But he have curly hair not wavy, is not the same.
@@Szokell this is waves, or you could call them loose curls, a debate.
It aint curly man, are u blind ??? His hair forms waves not curls 🙄🙄🙄🙄
he ties his hair damn rough, i was like woah woah chill bro it's still wet and you even comb it...i saw one of these guy's videos even saying dont pressure/ties/combs the hair it is not good...dafuq lol

I was the same as saying bro chill are you being so rough especially on wet hair
traction alopecia.....
He'll regret it once male pattern baldness hits.
Brushing your hair while is wet is bad and putting your hair in a bun when is wet is even worse, besides that, great video :D
yeah and that hurts just by watching omg lol
easier to brush curly hair while wet
dawgyo I know it’s easier to brush curly hair in that way, but by doing that, you are ripping a lot of hair
Very true gentlemen... but with hair as curly as mine... i CANNOT brush it when not wet, its just a rats nest of pain and terror.
I usually brush it in the shower with conditioner in it at the time... then is like combing butter!! *Sigh*
@Yak1B I do that too... I just find doing it innthe shower is way easier. *shrugs*
HELL YES i was looking for such videos for months now and finally you guys made it TY
Sick!!
Thanks for the help I’m currently in the awkward stage of growing my hair and Bobby pins help
Yeah, and after that your remember you forgot to change your t-shirt, so you take it off and mess your hair.... The struggle is real :))
Haha real talk!
lol
Corobana Cosmin I fucking HATE that!!!!!!!

Great video I do my hair just like that! But the bobby pins are a great tool thabks bro!!!
Hell yea man!
Just don't pull that ponytail too tight too often, or traction alopecia is coming your way. Just a warning, guys.
Do you use any type of oil, serum, mouse, hair spray or gel for your hair?
The real challenge is not losing the bloody things. But regardless thanks for the vid, using them used to be a nightmare for me but I need it to make my bun look better.
There's a reason they come in packs packs of 100
kohakuaiko Yeah I know but I end up leaving them everywhere and when I was kid I borrowed from my sister and so only had a couple.
Andrew is awesome! Really liked this video and happy to have a curly long hair guy like me in the mix!!!
Ever heard of traction alopecia?
yeah he pulls his hair a lot
TriggaWarning Yeah
lol yep, that's why my hair looks like I have a receding hairline (or maybe I'm just getting old) but I stopped and started using lose clips. I don't care how stupid I look wearing them.
@@WDMurphy You should try those spiral hair ties. I use Invisibobble, but I think the others are also fine.
Besides I think it looks better on a man when it's a little messy and not that tight.
The Longhairs ties also work great, if you don't pull it back so hard.
@@TriggaWarning Been using Jaw clips, twisting the tail with a loop up then just clamping the jaw clip lol. I'm a redhead and have really fine hair. I'll get some and try it out. Thought about using a banana clip but that might look to unmanly lol. At this point, I really don't care what others think just if I like it or not. Thanx for the advice tho.
Super on the money with the pins, creates totally different options. You're undercut and still that much lush hair, I'm feeling tinges of the green-eyed monster. But Andrew.... I've actually never seen anyone handle wet hair so roughly. That's 10 lashes with a wet shoe lace ....hehehe and 2 thumbs up for being such a stunning Longhairs ambassador. There's an Olaplex vid on UA-cam for guys with curls. You'll be amazed.
New to the channel. Great vid....
When it is going to be in the website????
Have any tips for brushing? I feel like I am losing more hair than I am supposed to when brushing
Nice classy intro. Loved the video

How do you keep your hair looking wet and slicked back in a bun without frizz
Drew you are so Next level Shoe the fb snail mail.
I have curly hair just like him(maybe a bit more wavy) and i would like some solutions on how to stop it from getting a lot of tangles and knots.
Roger that
@SomethingAwfull Curly hair requires more care and more specific maintenance than straight hair. You guys should look up the curlygirl method, I know, the name's a bit offputting but it's a care routine for curly hair that makes sure it's healthy, nice looking, and easy to maintain. If you want one place to start, don't use brushes like the guy did in this video. Only detangle in the shower with a wide toothed comb/denman brush.
Humour and hair! That’s what makes these videos great!
You know it!! Thanks dog!
Whats the name of this guy? All the guys are so funny and relax. I like that!
Hey could you give us some tips how you style your hair when you‘re going to the gym so you‘re not leaning on the man bun for example. It‘s always in the way when I‘m barbell pressing etc...
Just tie it up nobody at the gym cares.
Chikirin you mean with a headband? that‘ll work for now maybe but when they‘re longer it will be another story.
very late, but i hope you read this. use very loose ties or buns in the gym, after the workout be sure to untie your hair, let it breath a lil and also brush out some of that sweat in there or wash it like some women do.
Do a really high bun/tail, like on the actual top of your head, or a loose low one that will sit in the nape of your neck. That one will get sweaty but will let you just lay back on it easy. Headband or a half tail are also options.
If I wanted the same hairstyle (shaved around the back and sides but still full length on top) what would I ask for specifically?

When are we getting another hair growth video from El Moreno? :)
Next week
My hair grows forward and typically is always in my eyes, i dont want to cut my hair and get bangs but it doesnt want to stay as a middlepart for the life of me. Could i use bobby pins to hold it back instead of tying it up?
This
Yeah that's what I do. I take the hair in front of my face and pull it back or slightly to the side with one or two bobby pins and it's out of my face all day even when I look down
interesting thanks
But I think that combing wet hair is bad for hair.
the long hairs are great. the ties are great. the only hair ties I use. keep the products coming.
Thanks Mace!!
Yea Bobby pins are for everyone and can be made way better and we need clear Bobby pins
Could you guys please make a video about how to cover up bald edges in hairlines? I am trying to grow my hair out like a high-ball, with a bandana/headband, but then everyone can see my bald edges! It is so annoying! Please help me out here!!
I think I know what you're talking about, it's not really bald edges but just where the hairline recedes back at the corners? Lots of people have that. I agree, that would be a good tutorial idea. There a number of techniques you can use to disguise it. The most easy is just using a tad bit of the hair from the top of your head and kind of feathering it down along that edge, then hair spray it. Or pull a little length forward away from the hair tie on the sides and do the same. You just need to loosen up that area so you can make the hair flow the way you want it to instead of flowing directly from the hairline back. Alternatively, you could leave a bit of fringe loose along the hair line and tuck it behind your ears which hides those corners.
Wouldn't tieing wet hair just break them?
5:25 I cringed so hard. So brutal with your hair when it's wet, I haven't combed my hair that hard since I was 11
Dude my hair is so thick and wavy. Is that why you under cut the back?
I think it's just his style
I cut it so that I didnt have to deal with the fly-away- hairs all the time.
and then... @RichPatootie... it became "My style" ;)
I'm 4 minutes into this video and all I've learned so far is that you graduated UA-cam kindergarten and learned how to snap transition, what you hair looks like wet and how you tie yours in a bun.
I judt bought a 10 pcs bobbypin coz my hair bangs killing me
You have a fine hair. Lucky you. Easier to manage
Thank u so much, easier have fairly ok hair like 7 inch enough to make a pony tail long enough that it’s doesn’t look like a flower, but I have OCD and if one strand of hair is out I’m ticked off, but thanks to the Bobby pins and hairspray I am whole
I can finally do my Eren Jeager cosplay
Doesnt your hair just snap when its wet brushed?
i found it crazy that he did all that with his hair still wet, insane
How long took it to grow that length
Many years
@@TheLonghairs lol
Imagine, he has curly hair, so it takes longer to fall down, if he had straight hair it would look even longer. I must think that it must have 4 years of growth. I have more than 2 years without cutting my hair (my hair is straight-wavy) and Andrew's hair is longer ... sorry for my English, I'm using the google translator, (we all know it's crap) . Greetings from Argentina.

Hairties for guys is great because it rhymes. You gotta name your bobby pins "Bobby pins for peens" when they're released
Lol
Why peens?
Only tried it once is good
you probably should not breathe that hari spray... gel is safer. thx either way for the bobpin tips. Yeah, Longhairs needs to carry some masculine bobpins...
Can't comb my hair aggressively like that anymore. My damn hair be thinning out like crazy.
Don't brush wet hair? True or False
Just be careful. Women do it all the time and they aren't bald.
You can use a comb but just don't be too rough with it
Managing wet hair.Thats a no go
Curly hair people triggered cuz you got really wavy hair😂
Bobby pins are great for keeping hair out your eyes, and keeping that lock of hair from draping down your eyes... I don't like the look.
I also, used to wear a hair band to tie my hair... Needless to say, I just say F-IT, and tried a hair claw.
Then, I went to the store and bought a fish skeleton shaped hair claw in black, and one on navy blue... Both matte finish.
Yeah, they are hair savers. I tried them, and I'm definitely never using hair bands again... They pulled my hair, plucked my hairs out, matted my hair, and wjr. I took the band off it had a lot of hair intertwined in it.
This dude reminds me of the cowardly lion from wizard of oz.. cool hair anyways🤘
By sliding your fingers through your hair it gets greased much faster
That's why I don't touch my hair
AND HERE I AM MISTAKING CUTTING MY AROUND EAR HAIR

Im about to give up on my hair journey, Its been growing for 8 months in I look absolutely terrible, I thought that eventually it might look good, but I think long hair for me just doesn't work. Its like Im stuck in the awkward phase as long as its long
Before I start this, I currently have been growing my hair for about 2 and a half years.
I was the same awkward-length-look for around the same time as well. It was only up until a couple months ago in October when i started feeling comfortable with my hair and people actually started making compliments about it. What I did was simply just start put my hair in a bun/ponytail whenever I went out. I tried new hair part styles and opted for a part in the middle. I was like that for around the same time as well. It was only up until a couple months ago when i started feeling comfortable with my hair and people actually started making compliments about it. What I did was simply just start put my hair in a bun/ponytail whenever I went out. I tried new hair part styles and opted for a part in the middle. You have long hair, experiment with it, ask others if they have a new idea for you to style your hair, there are so many possibilities. I hope this helps, but in the end if you want to cut it that's perfectly fine.
L C You're still in the awkward stage, just wait a few months more, at 1 year looks okay, and at 1.5 year looks great in most cases, also i part my hair in the middle because is easier to style at least for me
If I yanked my hair like that my hair line would go back to the 70s
he killing his hair I just astonished that what he is doing really I feel very bad for his hair
Bobby pins are great for opening a locked guest bedroom door if you're being held hostage by a psychopath who is nursing you back to health after a bad car accident and forcing you to write a new novel which brings the recently deceased protagonist back to life, in which you do, but end up burning it and stuffing it down her throat and eventually killing her with a steel doorstop in the shape of a pig.
The intro took 2 mins
All i wanted was to use the pins to hold down the short hairs that don't make it in to the bun/ball when i go for a walk and i really don't want to put extra product in it so no spray or gel. But screw it i'm just going to wear a hat.
What's with the insecurity about buying "women's" hair products?
FOR REAL
I got past any insecurity.. I used to go to a tiny old lady beauty shop next to my apartment building for my haircuts.. typical grandma beauty shop.. the ladies that shampooed and cut my hair were even older than my grandmother I was in my 20s at the time .. it was awkward at first but it didn’t take long to relax in the chair during a shampooing or haircut . And, they cut hair much better than the barber.
@@Tony-yg9mc u got it.
Why have long hair if ur just gnna tie it up and hide it?
Don’t be rough like that on your scalp unless you want no hair like me :(
His type of hair isn't a curly, its a wave long hair, stop saying bulshit y'all 🙄🙄🙄
I found out not all. Bobby pins the same.so are to cheap to work.so if see them for a dollar run the other way.
dude be kind to your hair and use an afro comb.
i fr do not understand why people have to call everything different if a guy uses it. a ‘man tail’ a ‘hairtie for guys’ a ‘bobbypin for guys’ just call it the reg name. its not called a woman tail or a hairtie for women. you’re doing too much smh
theres no reason to say man bum or man tie or bobby pin for guys dude
why so serious?
@@TheLonghairs just saying. how you deal with having long enough hair that it bothers you but not long enough to be able to make it into a pony tail or catch it all with a tie?
