not really sure why you need to remove the rockers before removing the springs . seems the wire holding the rigid and the spring forks together act the same as trying them up with wire
He didn't show or explain how to break the rear rocker nuts loose. You need to remove the big lock nut on the inside of the rear fork legs first, then remove the big hex socket bearing tension adjuster screw so you can get at the bolt head underneath. Next you have to use a 3/4 socket to hold the bolt from turning while loosening the outer acorn nut. Otherwise, you'll be turning and turning the outer acorn nut and it won't come off.
