CUNY Research Scholars Program COVID-19 Global Town Hall Forum (May 28th, 2021) - Panel Three

This third panel of the CRSP COVID-19 Global Forum featured discussions on vaccine access and equity in Guatemala, the impact of the pandemic on Central American Migrants, and impact on U.S. jails and prisons. Dr. Sudha Reddy, from the Clayton County (GA) Fire and Emergency Services, spoke about "COVID-19 and Equity Issues in Clayton County." Erinn Bacchus, from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health, discussed "COVID-19 and Equity Issues in U.S. Prisons & Jails." Dr. Jeremy Slack, from the University of Texas-El Paso, addressed "How COVID Ended Asylum on the U.S. Mexico Border;" and Dr. Karin Slowing, from San Carlos University in Guatemala, talked about "One Year of Pandemia in Central America."
