    I find the admission process in most colleges outdated and speakers to a deeper issue. Not expanding on my comment, however I think a logical person can draw own conclusions. I think schools love complicated admissions process.

      I think college admissions should selects students who will be able to Handel the rigors of that particular college. That’s easy
      Process, so after that you want to make sure students understand the culture, environment of that college. You can in
      Essay, why do you find this school
      Appealing? If your offered admissions
      Do you see yourself being involved in campus life? If yes, explain and if no, please explain? Have you taken a tour of the campus? Was this a formal, or informal tour? When did you tour? Tell us 2 or 3 you enjoyed about the tour? 1 or 2 things you did not like? I say optional essays is a waste of time, because in reality it’s not optional. Clearly students completing the optional have advantage, over ones who do not. Optional essay is a set-up..lol Why not just ask the questions..uggg Perhaps a great question to ask: On Average we receive blank freshmen application every year, and on average we admit (blank amount), so why should we admit you as a student?

      They are woke and Communist dominated. Jordan Peterson and Victor Davis Hanson explain in their lectures.
      Also Thomas Sowell.

    Elon Musk I believe would not have wanted to go to Stanford presently, even though he is an African American and could use that identifier for admission.

      @@mujtabaalam5907 He lives now in USA and being a citizen means nothing today, so due to location he is now an African American.

      @@Geezerelli Even though he is from Africa and lived in America, his Caucasian ancestry means he is Caucasian, not African-American. If we gave him a genetic test, he would be closer to any oher Caucasian than to any African American.

      @Chigozirim I.
      But there are many ethnic groups in Africa.
      According to Massaman
      And Elon is an ethnic group and was born in Africa
