It's crazy that in the 6 yr time jump they are all wearing business suits at the carnival/fair. If they graduated at 18, then they would at most be 24. Ummm adults can wear casual clothes too. It's funny how in every teen movie and show when there's a time jump the characters are always dressed as professional businessmen.

legit it was only semi important in the first one, giving the main characters their relationships. the second one i cannot remember what it’s purpose was besides just to keep the title and then the third one i feel like they went “oh fuck we need a kissing booth” and threw it in at the end

This movie is so terrible because I don’t like ANY of the characters Elle is so worried about pleasing everyone that she actually hurts everyone by not being able to set boundaries or communicate clearly Marco is trying to interfere in an existing relationship and would make me feel terrible if I were Elle because he would make me question if the friendship only existed because he had romantic feelings Lee is extremely childish and the growth he had in the precious movies of being like “maybe these rules are dumb” was completely undone. Noah has shown in the previous movies to be excessively violent, controlling, and jealous. He’s somehow my favorite character though because he had minimal character growth. Even side characters frustrate me. The kids’ families never set boundaries or try to actually parent. Lee’s girlfriend has spent so much time with these toxic people when she’s worth more. Chloe encourages and supports these toxic people when they need some honesty. The OMG girls are just stereotypical bf annoying negative representations of femininity. That one guy sexually harassed Elle and has NEVER had any repercussions.

He was shown to be a violent prick in the first movie and really toned down by the third, and true even though he’s still jealous in this movie he kinda has a right to be. He was right when he went off on Marco for still trying to get with Elle, and there Elle is still entertaining someone that she cheated on her bf with. Lee is childish and is so co dependent on the people he’s with I wonder if he has abandonment issues or something stemming from early childhood (outside of Elle) that made him like that. Marco continuing to interfere in Elle and Noah’s relationship is just sad. Saying that the only thing keeping him in LA was a girl who is clearly with someone and no longer has any interest in you? Dude, move on! You really just hit the ball out of the park summarizing the characters!
Yes I 100% agree with you. Somehow, Noah ended up being my favorite (Rachel as well, of course) And I feel like he had the right to be angry about it like why would you bring someone back to your life who you cheated on your boyfriend with?! I would have liked this movie better if Rachel and Lee never got back together. If she would just cut contact with them and live her life enjoying, away from these people. And Chloe was maybe projecting her parent's divorce on Noah and Elles relationship

Elle always feels like she has to lie or soften the truth because she’s always had to walk on eggshells so her best friend doesn’t cut her off. Down to her picking a university to go to, which is a decision she has to make that only involves her and her future, he has to make it about himself. I don’t really care that much about the movie but his character pisses me off💀

he clearly wasnt *actively* pursuing her, but rather just attempting to be a good friend and failing to covet his feelings for her in the process. he (however) acknowledges this and recognises that he cant just pretend his feelings dont exist, so he is open and honest w his feelings and lays it all out on the table. honestly (if i were in his situation, wherein i harbour feelings for someone in an *obviously* toxic relationship, that i feel reciprocates my feelings) i would do the same thing, especially if i was lead on as bad as he was. this isnt to say marco was perfect in this situation; he definitely made mistakes that shouldnt be ignored, however he owned up to his flaws and was (arguably) one of the most honest, refreshing and accepting characters in the franchise - hence his popularity. i think it's somewhat disingenuous to state that he "went after someone he knew wasnt available"

I didn't like it that Rachel was Luigi with the fat suit, it's not accurate to Luigi or Rachel either. She should have been the princess and Lee would be a good tall Luigi. Like how did they go through all this and not get the characters accurate lol.
This entire movie series was ruined for me by the third installment. I felt like both the Flynn boys were acting totally irrational and awful to Elle. Elle had her moments too, but the entire movie felt like 'lets see who could emotionally manipulate Elle harder'. Marco did not deserve to get treated the way he did. He was lead on in KB2 and left hanging by Elle. He was a genuine friend and when he wasn't even doing things that could be read as romantic, he was getting picked at by Noah and Lee. The Mario kart costume thing was ridiculous, Noah didn't want to do something embarrassing like wearing a costume so Marco did it instead....and he got MAD??? THAT MARCO WOULD DO THE EMBARASSING THING INSTEAD OF HIM? Marco got screwed over soooo bad. By the end of the movie I was so glad that Elle and Noah broke up. But then the little after credits scene hinting at them getting back together.
This character assassination can only be matched by Jacob in Twilight. They were SO mad that we thought both of them were a better pick. I guarantee that Marco would've shut Lee's behavior down quick

legit it was only semi important in the first one, giving the main characters their relationships. the second one i cannot remember what it’s purpose was besides just to keep the title and then the third one i feel like they went “oh fuck we need a kissing booth” and threw it in at the end

Elle is so worried about pleasing everyone that she actually hurts everyone by not being able to set boundaries or communicate clearly
Marco is trying to interfere in an existing relationship and would make me feel terrible if I were Elle because he would make me question if the friendship only existed because he had romantic feelings
Lee is extremely childish and the growth he had in the precious movies of being like “maybe these rules are dumb” was completely undone.
Noah has shown in the previous movies to be excessively violent, controlling, and jealous. He’s somehow my favorite character though because he had minimal character growth.
Even side characters frustrate me. The kids’ families never set boundaries or try to actually parent. Lee’s girlfriend has spent so much time with these toxic people when she’s worth more. Chloe encourages and supports these toxic people when they need some honesty. The OMG girls are just stereotypical bf annoying negative representations of femininity. That one guy sexually harassed Elle and has NEVER had any repercussions.
Thank you! I wholeheartedly agree about Noah. He was shown to be a violent prick in the first movie and really toned down by the third, and true even though he’s still jealous in this movie he kinda has a right to be. He was right when he went off on Marco for still trying to get with Elle, and there Elle is still entertaining someone that she cheated on her bf with.
Lee is childish and is so co dependent on the people he’s with I wonder if he has abandonment issues or something stemming from early childhood (outside of Elle) that made him like that.

he clearly wasnt *actively* pursuing her, but rather just attempting to be a good friend and failing to covet his feelings for her in the process. he (however) acknowledges this and recognises that he cant just pretend his feelings dont exist, so he is open and honest w his feelings and lays it all out on the table. honestly (if i were in his situation, wherein i harbour feelings for someone in an *obviously* toxic relationship, that i feel reciprocates my feelings) i would do the same thing, especially if i was lead on as bad as he was. this isnt to say marco was perfect in this situation; he definitely made mistakes that shouldnt be ignored, however he owned up to his flaws and was (arguably) one of the most honest, refreshing and accepting characters in the franchise - hence his popularity. i think it's somewhat disingenuous to state that he "went after someone he knew wasnt available"

This entire movie series was ruined for me by the third installment. I felt like both the Flynn boys were acting totally irrational and awful to Elle. Elle had her moments too, but the entire movie felt like 'lets see who could emotionally manipulate Elle harder'. Marco did not deserve to get treated the way he did. He was lead on in KB2 and left hanging by Elle. He was a genuine friend and when he wasn't even doing things that could be read as romantic, he was getting picked at by Noah and Lee. The Mario kart costume thing was ridiculous, Noah didn't want to do something embarrassing like wearing a costume so Marco did it instead....and he got MAD??? THAT MARCO WOULD DO THE EMBARASSING THING INSTEAD OF HIM? Marco got screwed over soooo bad. By the end of the movie I was so glad that Elle and Noah broke up. But then the little after credits scene hinting at them getting back together.
This character assassination can only be matched by Jacob in Twilight. They were SO mad that we thought both of them were a better pick. I guarantee that Marco would've shut Lee's behavior down quick
