- I tried to take more time on this one since you guys were so lovely and supportive about the previous one! Also, one day, my editing program will stop fucking up my camera movements when I export but today is not that day and I dont have the patience to futz with it :)

Such a flawed character, and I mean that in the best of ways. You manage to feel sorry for her situation. She wanted the attention of a man and ended up getting isolation in a mirror for a long time. Ironic, really, though I guess its fair when you turn into a dragon and go on a murderous rampage because the dude you are having an affair with is treating you poorly.
Ugh, laws and ethics. Always getting in the way of a person's right to be completely unhinged. Smh. /j
In the first animation Im pretty sure she was married to him first (though I could be wrong), he got married again ergo a second wife. She more than likely kept pushing it all down until she finally lost control. As such she was captured by likely her own people and sealed away in a mirror for her crime. Dont get me wrong I feel like she was right in her rage. But no one deserves being sealed away in a mirror for countless years, she likely went insane a least a few times. But honestly I cant wait to see the next installment. Maybe she can get a redemption arc and find someone who can see her for all the good she has inside.
Eeeeh, she did deserve to be imprisoned if her solution was murder. But, isolation is too far

Man the horror of being alone locked in solidarity like that for centuries without even having the option of dying of old age. What an absolute terrifying nightmare.
I love the progression on the hair it starts out short because she was only in the mirror for only a small amount of time but then the longer she was in the mirror the longer hair got
The sheer desperation on her face as the loneliness slowly made her insane gave me CHILLS this is fantastic
I was like “oh crap is she gonna be stuck in there until the king is dead?”
AND THEN THE TIME-PASSAGE MONTAGE HAPPENED AND I SCREAMED
Holy crap this was both amazing and terrifying
I think a lot of people don’t know what isolation can do to a person. It can tear us up from the inside out when we don’t have others to talk too or interact with. It turns us crazy. Imagine all the trauma she gained from that prison. And hell, I don’t care if that witch thought she was doing a good thing, you shouldn’t imprison someone & leave them alone for years & years, even if they did kill people. She should’ve if anything helped Phoedosia work through her emotions & re-evaluate her relationship with the king.
You don't try to say that Jeffery Dahmer has a secret good side and should've been sent to work through his emotions. I mean yeah, that could work with like stealing or stuff like that, but murder? The slaughter of millions of civilians? They didn't know of her past. To them what happened was suddenly out of nowhere a crazy psycho bitch decided to kill everyone for no reason.
I don't think she did genuinely think she was doing a good thing. She might've considered revenge a good thing or framed it as 'this kingdom is rotten, it needs to be torn down', but I think she stopped caring about what was right or wrong the moment she made whatever pact she did with the lazy dragon-god, or rather the moment she considered that everyone in her life probably was just manipulating her(following the many betrayals of the king)
I just love how the song lyrics "as long as I'm here nobody is going to hurt you" perfectly fit what is going on in the story yet mean a totally different thing...
I am more emotionally attached to this dragon lady than I feel like I should be, amazing animatic!
I am sure the dragon lady, who has been trapped in a mirror, for hundreds of years is mentally sound. What could go wrong?
The desperation and rage in her expressions after being in the mirror for so long is beautifully, terrifyingly captured, good job!
3:20 got me. Being alone in your own head for so long can be torturous, and you depicted that beautifully.
Love how you drew her mental breakdown. So much emotion and agony.
Back for Part 2 eeeeeee
This is pretty self explanatory so ima just summarise and then talk about her character
(You probably don’t need this but oh well)
Summary:
Obviously after Part 1 she was arrested to going rampant in the city.She was then locked in a mirror for “safety” and as generations passed of guarding the mirror her sanity also began to dissipate.But no matter how much she pleaded people despised her.As magic became less known (I presume) there was no-one to watch the mirror and she was forgotten.Until something freed her.
Moving on,that woman that locked her away looked important so I’m curious to learn about her (that or I’m overthinking).Also Phoedesia didn’t seem to feel guilt about the murderous rampages she committed.She only really cared when she realised just how alone she was ,in short ,when it affected her.Which obviously shows just how her moral scale is twisted.This however is caused by someone just as selfish and if you think of it that way you could say she was only giving others what she herself had been given.And honestly that’s not a lot.Though I’m sure any kind of isolation to such an extent would drive anyone insane.Also the water reflection and connotations with water intrigue me as the moon is shown to be the symbol of this kingdom.Both the moon and water/ocean are closely linked it myths folklore and also just generally science.
So yeah that’s my little ideas on this not a lot but interesting still.

I've been obsessed with the first part and now I'm going to be watching this one on loop.
This character is so relatable. Despite the gorgeous fantasy and design its the common denominator of feelings. And all I feel is me and her and they are the same. Well done. I wish I had the courage to say more besides how it pierces my heart and reminds me of me. And no hint of jealousy she is gorgeous but hurt. Like we are.

look ik the last animatic we clicked for that thumbnail, but when i tell you i was not only stunned by the lore in this one and being more curious than when i started watching: like these animatics got me more hooked than any other show i've watched. bravo to you!

My advice is to be completely obsessed with little people in your head that aren’t real so you draw them hundreds of times over and over until suddenly people notice you doing it and go “hey that’s pretty good” and you get serotonin :) I believe in you!!
@@Yawnty Aww thank you so much! Yeah I'll definitely try doing that, personally I'm a bit anxious to draw what I "really" want to try drawing, but I'll figure it out! If I can write a story, then I can draw one to!

I think I recall you mentioning in a past stream you were combining Phoedosia's world and Linus' world because of some crack ship stuff you drew...wonder if this is the begining of that story :D regardless beautiful work as always! And good choice for the song/cover

okay but like as i watched and more the lyrics related too much with 'as long as I'm here' ,which meant the mirror prison she's in0 following with the 'no one can hurt you' its very obvious it means she's the one that wouldn't be able to hurt anybody bc phoedosia is imprisoned there. the first part with the chorus and the scene of the (i forgot her name if she even had one fuck but yeah the other girl) was looking at the mirror with her in, phoedosia look deranged a bit as if shes telling her 'are you happy I'm locked up now huh?'. in the "don't wanna lie here, but you can learn to' it could mean two different things. idk with billie's og but if it's 'lie' phoedosia's facade of just smiling and not wanting to show that (shes) got to phoedosia and her learning to live with that without breaking yes it makes sense- but 'lie' here as in 'lying down' could imply no she doesn't wanna be there in the mirror prison but 'she can learn to' with the years that she could spend there- it could just be me stretching far with the song and the relation to the animatic but :,DD I LOVE IT BTW ITS SO PRETTY AND VERY MUCH EMPATHETIC TOWARDS PHOEDOSIA :((

He tries to cheat on his wife with her, she refuses, then get accused of it anyway. And who gets punished? The man who tried to cheat? No. I feel so sorry for her. I don't condone killing the wife and then attacking the town. But it seemed to cruel to just lock her away.
